Hello! Good evening to my fellow Tamriel Decorators! First off, I would like to say that I know not everybody enjoys or sees the point in housing in eso, which is fine, and a personal choice, but this post is strictly aimed at those who place this aspect highly upon their Tamriel adventuring agendas!

Like many others, I have enjoyed and participated in purchasing and decorating homes in eso. I have spent hours farming materials and plans, I have been through the effort and frustration when it comes to trying to decorate seemingly impossible spaces, and have experienced the joy and pride of seeing all of this time, effort and money, both real and in game, paid off in the end when I have a beautiful home to show for it, but ZOS, there is a severe issue in this area of the game which so many of us love and enjoy, which you are neglecting to realise and acknowledge, and this issue is item slots!

When housing first became available, I, like many others, was very excited, and spent allot of time in all of the houses, decorating them and discovering what could be achieved with the amazing and beautiful furnishings you provided us with! Initially, I wanted to purchase Hundings, and anybody out there who has this home will be able to tell you straight away, that the item limit in this home IS NOT ENOUGH! I did not purchase this home myself, despite it being my favourite, because I was really turned off by the idea of buying a home in which I would have to make a conscious decision whether to furnish it either inside or our, or do a mediocre job on each. WE DO NOT SPEND REAL MONEY, AN EPIC AMOUNT OF TIME AND EFFORT COLLECTING MATERIALS AND LEARNING FURNITURE PLANS TO DECORATE A MEDIOCRE HOUSE!

Please, take a look at Cliffshade, a medium home, with 400 item slots available to decorate, it is great! So much creativity and beauty can be found in that home, it can look however you choose it to, decorate to your hearts content, it is actually difficult to fit 400 items in there! Then look at Mournoth keep! The difference in size! The garden! Everything about it! This home has 400 items available also!?!? It makes absolutely no sense at all!

I have been on the pts decorating the new homes, and I started off with the witch house, it was SO MUCH FUN! I could spend hours decorating that place, making it look however I want, it is amazing! BUT… This house has 400 items?? Look at it! It is smaller than most SMALL houses which have 200 (100 for non subs!) Humblemud has 200 items, this has 400? It is tiny! I am not complaining about this 400 item limit, I am relishing in it! It is wonderful! We can be SO creative in this house! We can make it look exactly how we please, so why am I complaining then???

My main excitement about the pts was due to a home which looked GORGEOUS! PHENOMENAL! BEAUTIFUL! This home, was, of course, Linchal Grand Manor. I am not the only person who was excited by this home, many others were too, and I could not wait to see what I could do in this place! So, imagine my disappointment, when I had to remove EVERY SINGLE ITEM from the garden, in order to decorate the interior! This house is crown store only too! Do you expect non subs to accept your ridiculous prices for these crown only homes, when they can use just 350 items in them? It is impossible to decorate them with 700!! You guys have done such an amazing job on thse new homes too, they are gorgeous, the effort that your art teams but into building these really shows, and they looks beautiful, but what is the point in selling gorgeous homes when we can’t make them look great?

When I first saw these new homes, I was convinced that the item limit would be raised for these, to 1000 or so, but they were not, and I spent SO long inside of these homes, and I can tell you 100% that unless you want to live in an empty shell, 700 is not enough items for these! Non-subscribers should not be penalised either, with half item slot limits! They spend the same amount of gold and/or real money to buy these homes as we do, limiting them is utter ***! I understand that you need people to want to sub, but the crafting bag alone is reason enough for most of us that sub, penalising people who have paid the exact same amount of money as everybody else like that is ridiculous! I am almost inclined to make some decorating videos on a non-sub item limit to prove to you that it is impossible!

I have had so many people tell me that they are unhappy with this, I am not the only one. I shall be linking this thread in my new video, the one where I had to leave most of the new homes empty in order to furnish the interior to a sub-standard level, and I hope that some other people will come forward to express how against these ridiculous item limits they are!
