Least boring class while solo leveling in overworld

stam sorc is pretty much the most boring class to play - its efficient but boring... i'd say magicka warden or magicka dragon knight cause they have the most varied/intersting skills to look at... warden has the added benefit that you can fit easily all 3 roles...dk too maybe a bit fewer options on the healing side

Say WHAT?!? Have you played a Magplar? Jabs...jabs... jabs... can we get any more boring?!? A Stam Sorc you can level a variety of weapons along the way, which can relieve boredom. There are always more options with Stamina characters because of the weapon choices, whereas with Magicka characters... you have a staff, a staff, or wait... a staff.

Jabs is much more exciting than my magplar.

Only voting Stam DK because my first ever tank completed Cadwels silver and gold, reaching VR16 in the process while built as a tank - 5pc heavy armour, one hand and shield, with bow on the back bar.

At no point did I switch her into medium armour or change her skills to be straight DPS.

While she was hard to kill, stamina management was a challenge and while not exactly hitting like a wet paper towel, nothing rolled over and died. She is also a hero of every alliance and will never be deleted.

Honestly I have a magplar, and I'm tempted to delete it. When it comes to mind numbingly simple, magplar takes the cake.

I get bored/sleepy when I play something that's easy. Because of this I tend to stay away from magicka specs. So out of all the stamina classes I find the stamblade to require the most concentration, and least forgiving.

In case anyone is wondering about the "fatigue" in my responses. I typically only play this game a couple hours a night after working a 12 hour shift.

    Actually it matters.

Apart from Stam NB almost all other specs have crazy self healing and when there is no danger of you getting killed ..leveling becomes a chore instead of an adventure.

Stamblades have the strongest defensive ability in the game. Like I said. If you don't enjoy the game then class is irrelevant.

What is the on demand healing of a Stamblade ?

Dont give me Vigor/Rally/DW shenanigans...I am asking a point blank question of a class based on demand (not heal over time) self healing of NB

    Magicka Night Blade:

It controls the pace of things better than any other class or build. Good AOE, Good Single Target, Moves fast and in stealth when you just want to blow by NPC's.

Close second MagWard or Sorc if you just want to kill everything fast and easy.

Who said anything about on demand healing?

I use rally or vigor on all my Stam toons and manage just fine. If you need a dedicated pocket healer to carry you through overworld pve then you're either lazy or just really bad.

I have multiple chars at 50 and mag sorc was by far the most enjoyable leveling experience.

I think it's simply the most fun class to play, out of any.

Im going to call it on magblade because you don't get a proper AoE until like level 42 with Sap Essence so not everything is just meltable in a grind fest.. which means until then you actually have to work for your XP..

Hahahaha I can't believe anybody voted for magplar. :D I love my templar, but the solo kit epitomizes boring.

Edit: I know it's cool to hate on magsorcs atm, but they are also pretty damned fun for solo play. ymmv

Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

Out of the 7 characters I've leveled in the last 6 months MagNB feels the most versatile. I can go standard aoe nuke using a mix of destro and class skills, I can go stealthy speed freak when I feel like skipping, I can go fairly tanky if I want to.

Granted you can do the same with other classes but the rotations don't change very much. MagSorc bored me to death, MagPlar is very routine, I don't have a MagDK but my StamDK did have some versatility depending on how I decided to roll. MagWarden, I don't know, I love the synergies and potential but the class needs some fine-tuning.

Magblades kill worldbosses from level 10 onward. Very versatile, except weak AoE, until Sap Essence.
