Least boring class while solo leveling in overworld

As the question states which spec/class can be considered least boring (meaning can be played in interesting non-boring ways).
Of course be 100% opinionated as I just want your personal subjective opinion on this

stam sorc is pretty much the most boring class to play - its efficient but boring... i'd say magicka warden or magicka dragon knight cause they have the most varied/intersting skills to look at... warden has the added benefit that you can fit easily all 3 roles...dk too maybe a bit fewer options on the healing side

Say WHAT?!? Have you played a Magplar? Jabs...jabs... jabs... can we get any more boring?!? A Stam Sorc you can level a variety of weapons along the way, which can relieve boredom. There are always more options with Stamina characters because of the weapon choices, whereas with Magicka characters... you have a staff, a staff, or wait... a staff.

Considering I got two magicka Dragonknights and one of them is my main I think Mag DK is the least boring. I tried to make the second one pure stamina...now that was boring and I quickly fell back to magicka. :P Magicka Nightblade is also pretty dang nice.

I was torn between Mag DK and Stam Sorc but ultimately chose my trusty Sorc due to his speed and ease of switching between 2h and DW as the main dps bar.

Exactly! My main now is a Mag Sorc which is great but my very first character was a Mag DK and I remember having quite a bit of fun with that one

I'm surprised so many people voted for the stam sorc. Out of all my characters, the stam sorc is without a doubt the most boring one. Buffs and then charge, don't even need to press dps skills since hurricane kills everything and surge heals.

Stam Sorc was definitely the most fast paced but it was also the most boring one because it is just ridiculously easy and doesn't require any skill. NB was pretty fun to me because the lack of heals made it "sometimes" challenging. I am now starting a Mag DK and I hope it will be fun.

1) I love using the bow, and it pairs well with crit surge
2) I can use pets (overworld is easy so it doesn't matter that I'm stam)
3) Streak + frequent dodge rolls is a fun combination
4) Access to major brutality without needing another weapon

Not sure why so many ppl think stamina sorcerer is fun for solo leveling. Its rather boring class, no diversity at all. It is strong, Ill give them that, but boring.

On the other hand, mWar can be played as ranged, melee, hybrid, anything goes. It is not amazing and able to solo every single PvE content but trials, but still I have great time leveling this one and its skills.

I have sorc, dk, ward and temp, all seem to be mag, I saw I could morph some skills on temp to a stam ability. But, I haven't. My main Is a sorc cp100, I quite like playing a mag class.. My sorc started off with staff and a mix of the three skill lines. But around 34 dark mag I decided I didnt like that and stuck to DS and storm. DS for clan fear and the bomb skill, and storm for the aoe attack and lightning form, seems pretty good so far, 30 health and mag and 4 in Stam for rolls and sprints. Havent hit any soft caps for anything so I think I'm doing something very wrong. I decided I wanted to try out sword n board cause of puncture. Its very handy to have for any vampire cause once people are hitting you and surrounding you. Bat swarm morph to devour means you're getting a bit of health which adds up when loads are on you, I deffo love mag sorc but give him sword n board for those ults that deal damage wherever you are. I liked the staff too. Lightning staff is good for an AOE ult but so is fire. But unless you morph it to be above you and move with you, its ground based and you've gotta hold them there. Which I spose is good if you're in the thick of it, but otherwise I'd go batswarm from vampire.. But that aside. There are multiple choices in weapons you can try for all classes. its one of the good things about this game, unlike other MMORPGS you are free to use whatever weapon whatever class you are. Whether you prefer to be up in peoples faces.. Or prefer to have a little distance, something for all, no matter your class with that said, if you're not bothered about damage output or heal output, or the numbers, as long as things fall in front of you. try out all the classes, and decide which best suits you, whether you're a up close or range. i personally like range fighting with spells and staves that cast bolts, but, I've come to like up close, what's not to like about watching someone incinerate or writhe with lightning before disintegrating at your feet. The choices are great, I'd suggest making any class, and just trying the weapons as you level, at lower levels its easier to get skill points to try new skills without having to respec to get points. So you can try them all, I tried out the two handed line. I felt the attacks were a little slow, I tried duel wield too and quite liked the health sap skill, but that was it, then i tried bow and liked volley but couldn't get much hits in because they ran towards me :L then I tried resto staff. loved the channel heavy attack, but didnt feel like I was healing for much, then I went sword n board recently on a Templar and really ljkrd it so tried it on my sorc main and he survives quite well, provided I keep healing and swap to staff to regen mana when my tri resto potion is on CD. :L my top classes I've played are mag sorc and mag temp. But I've not spent much time on dk and ward. And haven't tried NB yet.

What is probably really obvious, confuses me. 5 classes as of 6aug 2017.. 8 character slots. In really hope some more classes get added that bring even more choice in play style and new unique skills with new affects


I am deffo a magsorc or mag temp from what I've played so far. magsorc is amazing imo, self heal morph , destro staff, and sword and board so I can taunt people ready for swarm oh, and bound aegis looks really cool, specially If you wear a costume but hide your head gear. The glowing purple eyes, luuuuuush

I really like how warden has class skills for everything, that is why they are the class I enjoy the most in solo content. I voted mag since I don't like stamina builds but Warden would also be my go to stamina class from a pure gameplay PoV.

Also: "You get a cliff racer and you get a cliffracer!!!"

I get bored/sleepy when I play something that's easy. Because of this I tend to stay away from magicka specs. So out of all the stamina classes I find the stamblade to require the most concentration, and least forgiving.

In case anyone is wondering about the "fatigue" in my responses. I typically only play this game a couple hours a night after working a 12 hour shift.

Mag dk and mag sorc was very very boring for me. Mag dk was too slow and mag sorc was too easy/cheesy.

MagTemp is super effective, but a bit boring since I know I can get out of any pickle with him.

MagNB is my most exciting class to play. Especially because I made him a tank. He's so unpredictable. Also he doesn't do a lot of damage so I have to strategize. I have a sneaky set up for him and a pug-tank set up. I tried making him super damage sponge as well but that depends too much on other players. He's so versatile! Will he heal more than the person queued as healer? Maybe! Will he block all the things? Most likely! Will he sneak past everything? That depends on my poor reaction time lol. He's my baby.

I am really enjoying my stam warden (2h on both bars) but stam NB (dw+ bow) is fun too.

I liked my templar but it gets very boring very fast for levelling, just jabs jabs jabs and well, more jabs.
