You get more Exp with you are group and married, so some people use it to level alts faster, and to grind CP.0 -

A small exp buff when grouped with spouse with the ring of mara on is the only benefit as far as im aware. Would be nice to be able to share properties and some bound gear or something though1 -

You're asking should fictional characters of a made-up sex and race be allowed to pretend to be married in a completely illusionary world... right?
