I give hundreds of thousands of gold to my guilds every week, you should want your guild(s) to be successful. However, I am in some great trading guilds so I make alot of gold!

I've seen good traders run over 8 million gold...usually the GM puts in alot of their own gold for bids. Obviously you don't actually know how much gold it really takes to run a successful trading guild. Most GMs actually lose gold to keep the members happy, you shouldn't make broad assumptions if you aren't informed. Running a successful guild isn't cheap, and members should want to help....good day sir!

Other than the 2k for the tabard, I give them nothing extra i.e 5k/10k for a donate title etc

The guild does not see any of the funds from tabard purchases. It's just a gold sink.

Donated some 6 digit numer in total. But hey, we have a guild hall that's packed with attunable crafting stations, including all those that take time to get there like those from IC / guilds as well as those that are locked behind dlcs. So it's totally worth it.

Only if new or sales are in a slump (very rare). If I'm doing a million a month in one trader, that should cover anything they need from me.

I am a GM and I find this offending.

Shows that you know nothing about trading guilds in this game. Most GMs put more money and - more importantly- more real time into this job than you'd think.

My millions surely aren't from fees and donations. I worked, farmed and traded for them by myself.

AGH. I really haven't spent enough time for housing, I didn't realize you can have crafting stations from DLC's there. I have only Orsinium. To the Guild houses! ->

I'm not always focused on my merchant game...but, when I do lift my head out of the sand for a bit - i try it make sure to kick in some gold or decent items in to different guild banks...

i'm primarily a solo player, but, i do understand guilds are a key component for many players in eso...

Extra... no.. actually.

I pay for lottery tickets, even if I dont need to with my sales numbers, because I want to keep the trader.
I give them items occasionally, to help support the lotteries/auctions to keep the trader.
I give advice for free.

But.. give them gold, err.. no.. sorry, not that wealthy.

Its from doing the Master Craft writs and getting vouchers. The vouchers can buy crafting stations that can be attuned to whatever set you want, from anywhere. People generally donate them to the guild when they have vouchers they dont want to spend on RNG bags from the NPC.

I've got one guild that has a quota or weekly fee. Most of the time, I'll clear the quota within an hour of the week kicking over. Intermittently I'll pay the fee, if I think I'm going to clear the quota for some reason, or if I know I'm going to be offline a lot during the week and don't want to risk it.

The cut they get from sales is way too low. I'd give more if I was making more, imo getting and keeping a trader is a huge pain in the thing and I appreciate the access. And I'll stop now because the trade system in this game infuriates me.

Well, hang on, I thought we were talking about raffle tickets?

I have two guilds which run raffles and a third one which does not. I give 7500 gold every week to each of my trading guilds, even though one doesn't have a raffle. I give 5000 gold or item donations most weeks to my PvP guild, which does not regularly have such a good trader location.

Brave cats has an 10K sale or 1K donation requirement each week.
Lately it has been mostly PvP and group dungeons and not much income so I have donated 10K weekly.
