Never...because my main is Altmer, anything else would be a downgrade.

Never. My main is Altmer and I've always played Altmer in each TES game. It's my favourite race. I love everything about them: the look, culture, architecture and strong connection with magic. I must have been Altmer in my previous incarnation

I already have when I changed from Tank to Healer. It wasn't dramatic though (Imperial to Breton).

My characters are, well, characters - not simply a bundle of stats and gear with an appearance tacked on. They have personalities and backstories and although I don't exactly role-play often all of that feeds into how I play them. Changing their race would make absolutely no sense.

The only way I could ever see myself doing it is if for some reason I wanted to delete a level 50 character and make a new one of the same class, but didn't want to level them up. Then I might consider a race & name change. But I plan my characters carefully so it's highly unlikely I'd want to delete one after levelling them, and I don't mind playing them below level 50, so I'm more likely to just make a new one.

Nope. Still rolling a Breton Nightblade... just like half my singleplayer characters from Morrowind and Oblivion (and the way I play more than half my Skyrim characters).

I always have a dunmer as main in my elder scrolls games. In fact, I always have a dark elf in any game that allows dark elves as main. I suppose I am just an incorrigable dark elf fancier... the only race that might tempt me would be demonic races, but that's such a big lore no-no in the elder scrolls universe that it might just as well put me off ESO altogether if they ever allowed it...

I also wouldn't change the race of any of my other characters, since I make them following a character idea, and not chasing some FotM or caring about the "best" race for the class or sny such...
...with two exceptions - the two characters I recreated as wardens when the new class came without a class change feature. Now the old "bosmer girl" and "drunk nord" characters are... kinda aimlessly standing around, pending a new character idea (or new races, I'd totally let that thunder priest become a maormer stormcaller if they ever added that one, or the huntress girl become a gobbo poacher...)

I thought about changing my magNB sap tank from Bosmer to Imperial, I even recreated his look on a throw away alt so I could copy down the slider positions.... but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I feel really attached to my characters just the way they are.

It has actually made a major difference in my toon. sadly, Orc doesn't seem to fit into much of any kind of Meta build.

Nope. I have a lot of love for my Bosmer. She just wouldn't be right as any other race. I have an Imperial as my 'second in command' and I couldn't see her as anything else.

I've tried every other race out (except Argonians....I just can't play an Argonian) and there just wasn't the same fit for me as the Bosmer and Imperials.

Main, no, because its my character for questing and there would be no benefit. Now, to expand, would I change the race to A character? yes, if one of their classes would greatly benefit from it due to some future class or racial passive change.

I don't really have a MAIN character. I have a full time crafter and currently 6 other characters that I like to play depending on my mood.

I see no reason to change any of their races.

Nope. I have to much attachment to what she represents. She was the literal very first character I created in early release. This was my first MMO, and I had no idea what to expect. But I had bright eyes about the whole thing. She reminds me of better times.

Missing option - I don't have a main character.

I have multiple characters across two accounts and they are all equal individuals whose race, class, alliance, name and appearance were set at creation. I have no desire or intention to change any of those things at any time.

Nope. She is who she is, and her identity as a character is more important to me than min-maxing, especially after I've gone through so much content with her and documented her journey as an adventurer. I have no reason to make her into a different person.

In particular, she wouldn't have the history with Darien that she does as a Breton if I had chosen a different race (unless I had made her a Redguard), and I wouldn't trade that unplanned boon for anything.

Not sure I have a main at this point, but I generally min/max my racial choices for the most part. If something drastic happened to the racial passives, I would probably change. ZOS, dont get any funny ideas.

I transformed by argonian lady templar into a breton nobleman, then made her anew as a sorcerer with the same name and sliders. If I were a roleplayer I'd rationalize it as her gaining an interest in darker arts, but honestly, I just got tired of looking at her scaly behind swishing around all day.
