Without Maelström and with only my own Ele Drain, i pull 35k consistantly, sometimes 36k when proc gods are with me :But how much should I pull on my own with only my own Ele Drain? 25k feels abysmally low even though my dear boy isn't fully leveled when it comes to skills :'( I mean... I do have BiS gear.
https://youtu.be/uU3cmlTbIfESure I should and I would have, but I have to heavy attack once every rotation or bye. So in my case it's not "whipx5", it's "whipx3 + HA".Edit : I looked at your parse and i think you should really work your rotation. Uptimes are low on Flames of Oblivion, Berserker and potions (and other skills not shown i'm sure). And you should have way more than 24 whips in 2 minutes.
@Sanctuary, and do you also use Cost Reduction glyph with Witchmother? Or Spell Damage x 3, Witchmother is enough?@Dantaria
Or course you can't have a high uptime on Berserker with VMA frontbar, you are absolutely right !!!
My main sources of sustain solo are light attacks, Witchmother's Potent Brew and Rearming Trap. Trap allows me to proc Flame Lash twice per rotation : two free casts are nothing to laugh at
@Sanctuary, thanks a lot, it's very helpful! I'm too used to magsorc it seems - you can get away with heavy-attacking on it. Obviously not a solution on magDK. I will level my Fighters Guild and learn to deal with sustain. Thank you very much!@Dantaria
See my previous answer, i had a bug while posting it. It is now more complete. I use 3 Spell Damage glyphs and Witchmother.

Heavy attacking is a very potent solution on the mag dk. Just as good as the sorc

You're welcome @Dantaria !!
Flame Lash is a very powerful self-heal if you can proc it on a regular basis. And it's free. And it hits really hard.
In organized raid groups, off-balancing is a dedicated rôle, often taken by heals. In solo, i think the best way is to use a charged lightning staff with a lightning glyph, blockade of storms and Ilambris.
It's actually naturalI just feel that Power-lash is so buggy sometimes (in trials/raids). One millisecond the target is off-balanced and the PL procs, then another millisecond later it´s gone and you end up doing a regular Flame-lash instead (and if I screw it up completely I end up timing it wrong so I use flame-lash inbetween the off-balance/powerlash procs....)
