Overwhelming surge set

I've had a really bad time farming this set, just don't seem to get the div drops on the pieces I need so my question is is it a good set to run as a lightning sorc along with Ilambris, I've been testing netch's touch and I've been fairly impressed with that set so far.

The stats it provides are actually very good...
The one problem with it is that the Surge Proc is single target only; that's fine in duels or against a single opponent, but you rarely face a single foe in this game...
So it just depends on what your focus is with the set...

If you can isolate a single opponent, it can definitely be valuable...
But remember (and this depends on how you are built), only using Class Abilities can proc the Surge...
So what you typically use on your tool bar heavily influences how good this set is as well...

TheDarkoil✭✭✭Well my basic rotation is simply throw down liquid lightning then spam force pulse until crystal frag probs, rinse and repeat, throw in mages wrath spam from back bar on bosses and higher health enemies. That sounds like an awful fit. 1 class skill in your rotation and its not even your spammable.0 -
