Yeah well EP has always been full of skyrim fanboys running ugly nords or people playing some twisted slavegames with argonian and dunmer. They just run in Cyrodiil like headless chickens. Kinda cute.
Not sure what platform you are on but I've been running 2 toons during the event, one in Kyne, the other in Sotha Sil (both EP) and I can certainly say that they are vastly different campaigns (PS4 NA).Yeah well EP has always been full of skyrim fanboys running ugly nords or people playing some twisted slavegames with argonian and dunmer. I'll agree with you're headless chicken comment on Kyne, EP running around here and there with very little co-ordination and too much infighting to actually accomplish much in the long run. I have leveled 3 or 4 characters through Kyne and it has been this way for several months now.
Things are very different in Sotha Sil. This is my first venture into this campaign, so not sure if it is the norm, but EP seem to be very much under control. Very little unnecessary text chat banter, groups going from place to place to help attack or defend as the need arises. Sure, they currently own the map right now, but it is a different EP to what is on Kyne.
Not being a mainstream PVP'er, I have characters in all alliances so don't favor one over the others. Put me up for crucifixion if you like, but it is only a game.
But you were right about Kyne.....maybe just a good guessdisintegr8 wrote: »Not sure what platform you are on but I've been running 2 toons during the event, one in Kyne, the other in Sotha Sil (both EP) and I can certainly say that they are vastly different campaigns (PS4 NA).Yeah well EP has always been full of skyrim fanboys running ugly nords or people playing some twisted slavegames with argonian and dunmer. Actually I have no idea how the EP players work together, I was just joking. I only have AD-characters.
turns out there's a lot more going on behind the scenes in regard to player manipulation of cyrodiil populations than I ever suspected...
I don't think any of us really had any clear idea of exactly what a "bar" constituted value wise...
turns out there are ways to inflate/lock out enemy faction populations...
ca - ray - zee...

I'm not attempting to be a smartass, I am truly interested. But frankly I read this thread a couple of times, and I just don't see any evidence of the types of manipulations you are referring to. Also, I don't know what you are saying when you wrote, "I don't think any of us really had any clear idea of exactly what a "bar" constituted value wise..."
I did notice that at least on the 7 day servers the populations per side, always seemed unbalanced, but I have no insight as to why with the limited data avalible. If you have some info I wold love to hear it.

Love the AD fanboy posts in this thread. Yet they get their asses handes to them by us on daily basis should there be a conflict. EP just overall cares less about full on conflicts and PvP drama. Yes we don't own the whole map for the majority of the day, so what? We're not in there 24/7 like children from AD and DC. God forbid we gather a functional group every evening tho though. All the bananas and bluberries start running and screaming like little girls.
