✭I just saw a thread asking to uncap CP, figured I would make one regarding why it needs to be capped. The sheer advantages gained at high CP levels were so broken back in the day it is not even funny. People with no skill would win so many fights in cyro just due to the fact they spent 1000 hours grinding CP. I personally am glad CP is currently capped, and think uncapping would destroy any sort of balance we have currently. This is a video of an old friend who had around 750 CP and was able to solo Hiath in VDSA. This was over 2 years ago, so 750 CP at this time was just disgusting. He eventually hit around 2500 CP near the end of 2015 and ended up quitting the game. RIP Vash, miss you buddy.

He left the game due to issues I am not at liberty to discuss. Quite sad, one of the best players I have ever seen. In all seriousness though I can get you a VDSA clear, or teach you about how the game works if you have the gold... I mean not knowing the difference between a normal and vet version of anything is pretty embarrassing, not to mention the mechanics of how old exploits used to work. @Shadzilla PC NA, 200k gold per hour.

He quit due to personal reasons with close people he played with all the time in game, not going to say much more than that. He was around for the start of the CP cap implementation though, and had over 2k CP at the time lol. I saw someone with 910 CP fighting two dusteaters in Craglorn a couple of days ago... I just stood and watched as they took over 30 seconds to kill two low-level mobs that I melt in 3 seconds tops with my eyes closed (and I'm rubbish!).
People like that need all the help they can get! Take away the CP cap and give people bonus CP for being carried by their mates while grinding CP!

I am going to be completely honest here. Whether its midnight thursday night, 6pm after work on a friday, or 10am on a sunday morning whenever I respond to your posts you write something back literally within a 3 minute window. It used to be comical, but now its actually making me pretty sad. I really hope you have some sort of next gen phone updates when people respond to you posts on these forums, otherwise I would have to assume you a literally sitting here waiting for responses from people all the time. I have to take off for the day, I will be back later tonight to respond to whatever you post. Honestly though dude, maybe take a look at your own videos you are linking and go outside for awhile. The clip was back when it was v14 not v16 before all trials and vet dungeons where increased for damage and so on SUPER easy1 -

Cp 100% needs to be capped.
^this was the dumbest thing I have ever seen in any game. Console ESO took irreparable damage in the 1-2 months after release because of this.
I still remember leaving so many 500 player guilds where I was the only person online.... was just sad tbh.2 -

✭✭✭They could make pts uncapped with 1000, 1500, and 2000 cp templates, so we could see what it would be like now with all the changes since 2015. But really we all know there is no reason for them to uncap, and therefor no reason for them to let us see what it would be like uncapped.
I believe when CP first came around they gave us access to full 3600 cp templates. That was...amusing XD

Yea I have been asking around and looking, still have only heard of 2 people ever successfully accomplishing this feat. Was only able to be done due to the massive advantages a very large amount of CP was providing, without a cap. Huge props to Vash, insane skill level homie.0 -
