lol, adventure zones are already a joke, difficulty-wise, and they were a joke before 1Tam as well, might as well leave casuals something to do when they get out of work.

If you want harder content go do vMA, vDSA or vMoL/vHoF

    There's harder content available.
Artemis Absinthe - DC magicka nightblade (PC - EU)
Gruzosh Barrelsmasher - DC stamina sorcerer (PC - EU)
Kew'bacca - AD stamina nightblade (PC - EU)
Jebediah Orbrynn - DC magicka templar (PC - EU)
Hold-Many-Bags - Mule DK, Promoted to main tank, occasionally stamDD
Olaf Proudstache - Mule - No longer with us Now a Stamwarden healer
Aglieglie Brazorf - AD magicka sorcerer (PC - EU)
Rodolfo Lavandino - DC stamina, greatsword wielding, Jesus beam spamming, Redguard hybrid templar just a stamplar again (PC - EU)
Lemmy Raise Master - EP stamina necromancer (PC - EU)

Scions of Dawn recruitment ad - PC EU multifaction PvE endgame raiding guild

LUI user - I can see you when you fap loot.

^This. OP, let's go ahead and change all overland content to be as brutally difficult as veteran content. You will then be forfeiting your right to *cry* and *scream* when ZOS announces they're closing their servers a year later due to lack of patrons playing the game.

There should be a hard setting for a more challenging game which offers better rewards for the efforts. I like the current setup but have no problems with a difficulty setting for others who want something more difficult.

That's already in game. It's called "Veteran" and there's even another level of difficutly for bosses called "Hard Mode"

Not for nothing but asking them to balance yet another difficulty might not be the best idea.

Veteran rank 3 Shadowfen back in the early days of ESO was hell. Caused me to unsubscribe until they confirmed the removal of Veteran Ranks. The only time I unsubscribed from ESO.

I don't want to go back to those days.
Desperate for Roleplaying servers to bring open world non-organised RP to Elder Scrolls Online. Please ZOS.

Remember where there used to be a certain zone for certain level, colharbour being for the highest levels? Kind of getting annoyed of lvl 10 players running around coldharbour and killing every mob with ease. Make the game harder like it used to be.

No, I found the old linear zone system rather boring and it discouraged Elder Scrolls style exploration. 95% of the zones were even easier than they are now, and didn't provide any loot or XP. I imagine ESO would have retained a lot more players if we had the One Tamriel system at launch.

While I do miss the excitement that came with being a low level character in, say, Craglorn- the sneaking, the nail biting fear that a group of seventy wasps will spot me while I harvest jute!- I love the other changes that allow me to go where I want, when I want, with whoever I want.

At least world bosses are now more challenging. Some can still be soloed, but for the most part I am seeing a lot of cries for help with them in text chat.

One Tamriel is freedom worth TES game, everything before is boring grind which is killing whole genre. I don't know what do you want from 10 lvl players in Coldharbor. Just ignore them, or fight in duel to increase your ego. ZOS made changes because they know why their game was hated.

Going to have to disagree with you here.

One Tamriel was the best change this game ever had. Before that - you would just out-level most zones and it actually made the game easier (not harder) and a lot less enjoyable to explore.

Agreed. The beauty of the Elder Scrolls series is that the world is completely open to explore, and your path through the world is yours to choose. No path is the "right" or "expected" path. For example: In Skyrim, right after leaving Helgen cave, I explored everywhere BUT Whiterun. I didn't start the Civil War until I'd already become Thane in several other cities.

When ESO launched, there was a large sector of ES fans that were p*ssed off ZOS made a boring, typical escalator/treadmill/linear/on-rails progression-based system. You literally were required to visit certain zones in a certain order. I know it p*ssed me off.

With One Tamriel, you can ride your horse straight passed zones and start anywhere in the world you want, while still being able to play there viably. That is one aspect which embodies what it means to be an Elder Scrolls game.

Yeah, you missed out on a year of neat stuff there. Mostly because they seriously nerfed the gold and silver zones about six or eight months after launch. Still, I mean, I don't blame you. I walked away from the game because of the Halls of Torment Harvester on my Nightblade, for awhile. Also because of the goldsellers. I remember once, literally, logging in to about 20 goldseller ads in my inbox.

It was also marketed as an mmo, which carried certain expectations from another equally valid part of the consumer base. A shame the rampant selfishness and intolerance for those who don't share your opinions, is so rife with you liberal pve anti-social types.

Meh I'm wasting my time daring to go against the herd. Do ignore me as usual.

Are you trying to make the argument that PvP-players are Conservative and an overall social group of people? IF not, including the terms "Liberal" and "anti-social" is just meaningless hot air. Also, is selfishness and intolerance not "rampant" within the PvP group?

Your views on the community might be a bit out of whack there pal. ;P

Or play stamina NB only using the stuff you pick up off the ground, no sets and don't put in your CP, that will give you a decent challenge.

Yeah idk how politics got involved. Maybe he was trying to draw a connection with the sense of entitlement that PvEers have. Beats me :grey_question:
