    Voriak Solkyn is a Dremora. He does kind of look like a lich though.

    Of course but considering the fact that I got substain issue? I did try with more damage but I was having problem and always died when I was running out of magicka

    You will have too less damage. vMSA is just about damage..
    I tryd it with more sustain and had more stress then with full damage build.

    I can't understand how some people are misinterpreting this question, op is asking whether running the necro/lich combo set on a sorc would be good to clear maelstrom arena. As for the question asked I don't know.

    Necro, willpower, illambris. 2 lightning staffs. Drink trash pots as soon as they are up. They give something like a 20% bonus to regen for 30sec. Liquid lightning, wall of elements, volatile familiar pulse, heavy attack. I dont use any recovery/cost reduction glyphs or witch mothers brew. I use overload occasionally if i find myself in a jam and am running low on resources since i get magic back on light attacks and i slot dark conversion on the overload bar. Just takes practice, you'll get it. At one point i thought it was impossible to beat and now i wish there was a new solo arena to learn because its too easy, all in the time span of 2 months. Infact i got my flawless after morrowind dropped!

    Yep i would choose same items with magicka sorc :wink:

    Would IG be ok instead of Llambris?

    To put it very simple regarding veteran maelstrom arena:

    The faster you kill stuff the better. Build for damage, not sustain.

    I wear 5 necro, 2 ilambris, 4 moondancer and backbar maelstrom lightning, no sustain issues whatsoever if I use witchmothers, all spell damage enchants too on jewelry

    Sorcs have good resource management, esp if youre a high elf, if youre really struggling, do some heavy attacks with lightning staff or slot dark exchange

    I do lich and willpower with all spell damage glyphs on jewlery
    I'm a PVE roleplayer concerned about my vampires stage 4 skin tone and keep getting load screens so I came here to distract people from major issues with a rant thread about my characters cosmetic appearance.
