Taking Empty Keeps In A Rotation Should Be A Exploit!

Psilent✭✭✭✭✭People mindlessly PvDooring Keeps with no defenders are very much not paying attention and are easy kills if you catch them off guard.
What I have done in the past is watch how a group takes the objective. Observe which flag they idle on the most and then the next time surprise them with oils and a CC ults, usually meteor, and watch the AP flow.
If you have a bombing character just bomb them with destro. Bombers in my guild are making 50k+ AP per bomb, some times even higher. Get a bomber friend to bomb while you dump oils. Lots of AP!0 -

I think what he is trying to say is they are exploiting like they did last double AP event. The last double AP event people were getting banned because there were 2 factions at an outpost just taking turns flipping the flags for double XP.
This time around it sounds like they are doing the same thing but rotating between keeps. Leaving the walls or doors down and just taking turns flipping keeps.
I vote to ban them all!

✭✭✭✭✭I've been jumping into PvP as a solo player. I look at the map, see one of my keeps being attacked. I go to it and I am the only one from my side there. I check the map again and see we are attacking another keep. So, according to OP, I should defend keep and die quickly, getting little or no AP, instead of following group, and I should be held accountable for the actions of a group of strangers that I can't talk into defending our keep. Um, no..."Get off my lawn!"3 -
The702Guy✭✭✭✭Sounds like someone here is mad that people are playing the game different from how they play it....dude it's an mmo, there are so many different ways to play the game not just your way. It's not an exploit if people take empty keeps, just because you don't like the other way people are playing doesn't mean that it should be banned. I think people who whine about the way other people play should be banned from speaking, it's annoying and no one wants to hear it. Muhhhh PVP, give it a break dude.1 -

You need to calm down and stop gettin upset, defend your keeps and they won't get taken.

✭✭✭✭✭The object of the AvA game is to take keeps and or resources for points on the campaign score board.
You have to quickly take keeps on the inner ring to achieve emperor for your alliance.
Keeps should be defended not empty so get off the Alessia bridge watch the map and defend keeps that are attacked.
Do not assume someone else will take care of it get to the defense asap.
Put up counter siege and oils while defending.
Please defend your keeps as I make even more ap when a keep is taken for the kills plus the offensive tick.Edited by TequilaFire on July 26, 2017 1:55PM0 -

Tenn60✭✭✭each keep is worth at least 1 point for your faction and 2 points(if it is an enemy home keep) deducted from an enemy faction. You include resources and that's a 12 point swing in scoring. If you just want to kill that's fine, but I've yet to come to a keep that walls are down or that anyone is doing anything against the rules of the game. If people take advantage of a lack of defense then they should lose keeps, trust me I know I play for DC and we don't defend anything 90% of the time and get gated every time we start to make the map look halfway decent.0

✭✭✭✭✭It is amazing how people don't even know the object of the game anymore, they think it is all about 1v1 and 1vX fighting.
It is about winning campaigns for your alliance while killing other players in the process, with open field battles on the way to capturing objectives.
If you want otherwise you should stick to battle grounds.1 -

And whose fault is it that the keeps are empty?
The owners of the keeps should be defending them .
Battle is about offense and defense.
The strategy is to take as many enemy resources as possible before the enemy can react.
In addition taking enemy back keeps breaks there travel lines so reinforcements can't get to the inner keeps.Edited by TequilaFire on July 26, 2017 2:09PM1 -

The last time was AP farming resource nodes in that team one took an node, then moved back 50 meter, then team two took it and moved back, repeat, team one would get angry if other team one members attacked team two and vice-versa.
This required an agreement between the two sides to farm AP.
The AP rotation is just an zerg group who focus on offensive as it give more AP. It can be countered but there usually isn't enough man power to do so.
This here is exactly it, the AP rotation is not an agreement between alliances, people still defend the keeps and often times wars break out between the zergs when they do end up clashing. No one is taking keeps while the others watch and then rinse and repeat. Also doors are being repaired and being torn down. They aren't just opened and have people running in and claiming and leaving without repairing for easy AP. Work is actually being done. When the keeps are being taken people are actually there trying to defend but there isn't enough defensive manpower so the keeps get taken. They may be running in a circle around but they are really just taking back keeps they lost. I also saw one person say don't take the keeps back or actually have more people on defensive. He is right with that. It is not an exploit if people don't want to put in manpower for defensive ticks when offensive ticks give more XP. It's almost like you want to say zerg groups should be banned but if we look at real life war back in that time when keeps and castles existed it was zerg groups that actually took the keeps. Its called an army/military power which we even use to this day.

✭✭✭✭✭Yes it would be an exploit if different alliances flipped the same keeps back and forth over and over again in cooperation for the sole sake of farming AP.
