Taking Empty Keeps In A Rotation Should Be A Exploit!

Console PS4 has it's toll you have 3 full groups running taking empty back keeps in a rotation for hours without fighting you guys or should I say you developers need to set a cooldown time or something nobody is fighting literally at all! if zos actually put gamemasters inside cyrodil and seen what people are doing it's ridiculous and pathetic.

Then they won't be empty. Then no 'exploit?'

Sorry, but it's even more pathetic if you notice the pattern and don't counter it. 2x AP events are generally about earning AP - not necessarily their fault if there is no one there to fight.

There's already a cooldown on resource capture. There's one essentially built-in to keeps with NPC's and repair of walls/doors.

No, what they need to do is set a cooldown timer on the forts whereby if a fort is not defended or isn't attacked within an hour, the Imperials see their chance and send a sizeable (30+ NPC's) force of soldiers in with daedra to take over the fort. The fort turns white on the map if this happens. If by somechance the imperials take all the forts in the centre with no resistance, the any emperor is dethroned and it default to No Emperor.

People were doing this kind of stuff in the last double-AP event. Zos came down on them afterwards, stripping AP, and (I believe) a temporary ban.

Just /report and laugh at their incoming ban.

@Bonzodog01 agreed set a cooldown time at least on how many times you take a empty keep without fighting that the game can tell if you been in a battle or combat you know.

i actually love this idea - but 1 hour cool down????/ nah make it 10 min, the banner bosses from the sewers can pop up top to nab scrolls too!

@Merlin13KAGL dude people take empty keeps just to take it why would anyone defend anything if they taking empty keeps? that's my point nobody is defending they too busy taking empty keeps farming them in a rotation to get ap without fighting it's pathetic.

I understand if there is a player in the keep inside the main walls and he bashing the door down from the inside, that I can see as being on unstable ground, but rotation for keep takes? no, these guys are just being smart and getting AP

@Biro123 nope this is what zos did the last event they suspended people for fighting at a outpost it was a massive fight almost never lasting but even without this event going on now people still doing the rotation empty keep farming without fighting they need to do something with the cooldown for taking empty keeps and not fighting or just make it a exploit.

This makes no sense. Why ban people for taking empty keeps that are free for the taking? There was a lot more involved than this if it was a ban.

Yeah, the bans before (iirc) involved people from multiple factions staying inside an outpost not fighting each other, just taking turns stepping on the flag to flip it.

Yeah, your faction juts needs to pay more attention to the map and not get too tunnel visioned into attacking.

Taking empty keeps is nowhere near a strategy especially if you have 60 people going together taking back keeps no fighting involved doing a rotation of taking the back keeps for hours it should be a exploit.

You're truly an MMO legend. PVDoor has been part of Cyrodiil since the beginning. You can't ban people for playing the game. Bleakers AP Farm was different because people were gaining 200k AP/hour for being afk. Here at least you have to take down the walls and flip the flags. Nothing you can ban here.

Yes I do take keeps when they're undefended. I also play almost only prime time Sotha Sil EU where keeps are seldom undefended. You just sound like a sour noob who doesn't get the juicy ticks.

Keep taking isnt an exploit. Maybe make running to die at the bridge and exploit and then perhaps those empty keeps might get defended

If you weren't there when it was taken, you don't know that it was empty. If you were there, it wasn't empty.

why take empty keeps for hours instead of getting kills that's the whole point of pvp it's called Player vs Player for a reason not Player Vs Door.

Legends, dude, when you see the keep being attacked or changing hands (2/3's of the time), maybe gather some people and go defend the keep.

FFS, either make them earn it, or stop complaining.

If you show up to a recently taken resource and the NPC's are all dead (for whatever reason), are you going to not step in and take the flag? (We're excluding tactics where you don't want to alert the opposing side of your presence.)
