what does strength of automaton increase?

does the set increase all physical damage abilities?
Including class abilities that do physical damage and monster helm damage such as Selenes?
How about light and heavy attacks with a melee weapon? Are those considered physical damage?

✭✭✭Any attack that specifically says Physical Damage, light and heavy attack of Dual Wield, 2 Handed, Sword and Shield and Bow counts into this. And it only buffs things that scale of weapon damage, so not set procs.1 -

No they don't, some do eg hurricane, dawnbreaker (good for stam sorc)Xbox one EU

All abilities that cost stamina scales of max stamina nad weapon dmg. Ultimates scales of higher stat. DK inferno is exception because it cost m,agicka but scales of higher stat.0 -

✭✭✭Like Juha said, and something that is good to remember is that ultimates scales of of your highest stat, which means that the only thing that makes meteor for example better for magicka toons and dawnbreaker better for stamina toons is their CP allocation. So, the big thing here is that in non CP scenarios like non CP cyrodiil and battlegrounds you can use any ultimate and it will be just as powerful. So magicka toons could use dawnbreaker and stamina toons could use meteor. Something to keep in mind.0
