Reorder Character Selection Screen

Is there a way to reorder the listing of characters on the selection screen? Currently it is ordered by date created, but if I started main-playing another character I would rather move it to the top (the OCD is real).

This was mentioned as a feature being worked on but we never received an ETA.

Unfortunately there is no way to do this.

It annoys me too. My list currently goes:
* Main
* Mule
* 3rd Main
* Alt (crafter)
* Mule/name-saver
* Alt
* Alt
* 2nd Main

I'd really like to put them into order, but deleting and re-making them is not a practical option.

I'm throwing my hat into the ring as also desiring this feature. I've been with ESO since Day 1 and have wanted this feature for quite some time. One of my main characters is below the screen and I must scroll down to get to it.

My OCD flares too! Guild order too! they mentioned it but said the way the data sat it was quite technically difficult.

We have asked for this since Beta. It would be so nice to be able to reorder the characters.

I would love to see this feature added and still can't understand why it wasn't already implemented. Hope we see this soon. I'm OCD and have a similar order of:

3rd Alt;
mule;
2nd Alt;
5th Alt;
4th ALT;
Main;
mule;
Name holder.

That said, all my alts were just chars I've played and listed in the order of where they sit by level, otherwise I really only play my main but my "2nd Alt" is my main crafter so he gets logged in frequently as well as my main. I want them in order ZOS! lol

Old thread, but this would definitely be an awesome feature to implement. One could organize their characters by faction or prioritize their mains. Please make this feature happen in an incremental update or something

God I'd love this. I turned my first character into a mule/crafter because I just don't like the class I chose anymore. It hurts me seeing him sitting above my main and alts I actually play with.

I’m not a software engineer, but I don’t see how this couldn’t be possible. It won’t impact any game mechanics either; all it would require is a tweak to the UI on the character select screen.

I was so happy to see this thread. Yep, I'm a li'l OCD with my girls. Finally got this after years in WoW, and it was SO nice.... or maybe it was RIFT - long time back for either game now, and my memory's tricky.

This would definitely make me a happier person.
