So, since she did log in "as a trial member" AND did in fact purchase the ESO+ membership during the event, wasn't she entitled to 5 of the crown crates? I thought I remember a staff member (Richard?) post saying that if you logged in on the trial each day it counted only if you joined with a paid membership during the event in the forums as well, but am not having luck finding it.
A FREE trial is NOT a paid membership.
It's not hard.
No PAID membership NO free crates.
If she purchased ESO+ on the last day and logged on she's only entitled to 1 crate.
You don't get them for simply trialing it.
The trial was for non-members. The crates were for members.
Get off your high horse.
Not everybody read the announcement the same way because of various levels of English knowledge. Its not a primary language for everybody.
Also, the punctuation was deceptive on that announcement and it was never further clarified despite numerous topics on confusion about this subject.
So its understandable that people read it differently from how the announcement was intended.
So yelling at people for misunderstanding is counterproductive and mean.

Clarifying what was clearly written out is a high horse now. Wow.
And what yelling are you talking about? This is written text. I'm not yelling anything. Dunno what you're on about.
ZOS quote for those that never saw it. Clearly says active ESO plus member. It says that now as they posted that this morning, but 14 days ago it read very differently, then it read that you earned a crate for each day you logged in and if you signed up BEFORE the end of the event, you would get the crates for each of the days of the event you logged in on. So it could have been interpreted more than one way 14 days ago. The fact remains that many people read it as you get the crates if you signed up before the end of the event and ZOS should honor that as it was what was written then...

PS: Allthough I did receive 4 out of 5 crates, I see people here have gotten a mail telling them the crates were on the way? I didn't, if that helps.
The problem seems to be the reversed too.
If you were a member until 7/9/2017 and logged in each day between 7/5/2017 and 7/9/2017 and your ESO+ subscription ended around mid day 7/9/2017 (a sunday), making you eligible for at least 4 crates for the days 7/5/2017 to 7/8/2017. Then used the Crown Store ESO+ trial token on the 7/9/2017 and further renewing your ESO+ subscription on 7/10/2017, you somehow did not get any Crown Crates despite being eligible for at least 4. Seems the ESO+ CS token disqualified you from the 4 crates your regular ESO+ subscription made you eligible for.
This is my case.
I'll think twice and three times before accepting further offers since they seem somewhat counterproductive as I feel bad about this whole thing instead of feeling good about it.
I don't know, I can do without the crates alright, it's just something about making your regular paying customers feel like crooks, that just doesn't strike a good chord in me.

ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Hi everyone,
On Monday morning, we delivered Crown Crates to those who were eligible from the ESO Plus Bonus event. Some players have reported not receiving all the Crown Crates they expected, or not receiving any. We have identified a few edge cases where players did not receive the Crown Crates they should have. This includes some who got only three or four out of the five, and some who didn’t get any (but should have.)
We are investigating, pulling together a new delivery list for those who fall into one of these two groups, and will deliver the missing Crown Crates. As far as timing, we must do this during a maintenance period so we are planning to do it next week (Monday for PC/Mac and Wednesday for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.)
Thank you for the update @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
We were discussing this in guild chat last night and it dawned on us quite a few have fallen victim to time zone differences. Fellow Australians have logged on for instance Friday night, gone to bed and played Saturday morning before not logging on again until our Sunday. For us this feels like we logged on all 3 days but depending on when we logged off on Saturday morning, it would only be registered as 2 days in different parts of the world. I think this is why a lot of people have been shocked at only getting 3 or 4 when expecting the 5

no,the crates were bait,'baitcrates' if you wish, zos didn't do this because they wanted to reward members LOL,and personally if you took the free trial and then signed up at any point b4 the thing ended what would be the harm in getting all the crates? is there a worldwide pixel shortage atm?
Also from the support response:You must have logged in between 12:00am EDT and 11:59pm EDT (Eastern) on each day of the event.
There's a ten hour discrepancy here on the first day. I logged in every day shortly after the day switches in EDT (for me that's after 11 PM, CDT). The first day however I didn't log in after 9 AM and before 11 PM. If they chopped off that first 10 hours, it could account for a lot of 4-crate players. Just throwing that speculation out here. The event began on July 5 at 10am EDT and ended on July 9 at 11:59pm EDT.

Actually, I was shorted 3 crates. One account got 3, the other 4. Both accounts were logged in (and played) every day of the promotion.
Anybody else get less than expected?
No, you have NOT delivered all crates. After waiting patiently an additional week, I still have not received mine. Support ticket # 170717-001738.
