Free Crown Crates Non ESO-Plus Member
Today, I found myself with 4 crown crates for no reason. I thought it was some kind of event to get people interested in buying more, but after looking it up online, it looks like this was only supposed to go to ESO plus members, which I'm not. I thought I should mention this as I found this odd.

Enjoy them? Seriously? Those of us who pay monthly do it for the little perks. No offense to Onyx but co mme on... isuppose you call this fair? Especially since everyone I have heard from in at least one of my guilds got complete trash. Come on Zos... oh and now I can't even log into the game cuz something is broken2 -

On the topic of crown crate issues, I logged in all 5 days and only seem to have gotten 3 crown crates. Maybe it's an issue with Australian time but I did make it on all 5 days2 -

Maybe you didn't played when there was "free eso+ trial". For every day you logged in you were awarded with crown crate whitch you gained at the end of event.0 -

Did you actually check via the crown crate interface? There was no in game mail or anything. They were just there for me.1 -

actually this is misleading, they're not in the crown store at all, press F3 to go to the crown crate opening screen and any crates should be there.0 -

I find it odd that as an ESO+ member I received 0 crates. Although my ESO+ did expire during the event, lucky me, but I renewed it almost immediately.
Lol, an event that was supposed to increase my interest in Crown Crates as an ESO+ subscriber did just the opposite.

I'm sorry, but I might be dense. I go to the Support site, even using your link. Log in. Go through the selections, Limited Time offer, type Crown Crates (July 5th - July 9th event), and click to continue, and there's a circle "processing" and nothing else.
How exactly am I supposed to contact Support in this particular matter?

FWIW, I do have an active ESO Plus subscription and I did log-in every day during the "event", and, frankly, I don't care whether ZOS has given me any Clown Crates. If they are there, they're there. If not, I couldn't care less.

Have you attempted to use the Support service with the link that you included in your post? Evdiently Zenimax is determined to minimize, as much as possible, any contact with its customers. The Tech Support options are limited to whether the player can connect to the server and log-on to the game. The Account options only pertain to changing the data on the player's account. The "In-Game Support" options don't include a category pertaining to the Crown Store (among other potential issues). In your Support ticket, please include your platform, region, details about the missing Crown Crate rewards (one, two, all five, etc.) and any info you can about when you logged in each day.
Still, Zenimax "support" is -- barely -- one notch above Century Link (the local telephone company). You don't want to know.

I was recently thinking about it. I never used the free trial for ESO plus. Maybe whatever system was used to give crates interpreted my not using it to mean I was an ESO plus member already. I don;t know, though I'd put this out there just in case my not using the trial had something to do with it.0

However, when I click the LMB on that icon, the only thing that happens is a voice which says "Good luck to you", or something similar. It doesn't display any Crown Crates, and none are displayed as available for use by the Crown Store UI. Insofar as I've never bought any Crown Crates, I have no idea what the UI would look like if I decided to throw money away and bought some.
Which is to say, after the patch today (Monday 24 July 2017), no Crown Crates have been in evidence in the game or in the Crown Store. But that is no surprise, whether just another disappointment, it is what I have come to expect from ZOS.

When I began playing the game, the ESO "subscription" was mandatory, i.e., we had to pay $14.99/month to play the game at all. Less than a year later, ZOS declared that ESO was "free to play". So, like you, I did not use the "ESO Plus Trial" opportunity. But I've never bought any Crown Crates, among other things that I have never bought and have no plans to buy. There are other things that I have bought, however, including buying extra Crowns (which was a mistake because ZOS removed the item which I planned to buy from the store before I could buy it).Onyx_Devastator wrote: »I was recently thinking about it. @Shadowshire Try turning off all your add-ons. It sounds like the crates are there (as evidenced by the "new" icon), but something's stopping them from appearing. There have been a number of add-ons that break the Crown Crate display mentioned in the past.
