It's not been laggy for me at all, despite all servers poplocked and full of zergs, in fact it's been best since 1.3. (EU PC)

I'm on ps4 and only get lag when the servers about to crash, what I get more often is everyone freezing and waiting till I disconnect 8 times before it starts running smoothly again.

Any other online game I can play with no problems. Only this one causes this much problems

ONE SERVER hosting all instances = fail and shows that the company doesn't want to make a playable game
ATM is far from playable, and having all instances being hosted on the same server .....
MAYBE U SHOULD INVEST SOME MONEY U EARN FROM US ON PURCHASING ADITIONAL SERVERS, NOT ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS THROWN IN SAME SERVER.....who had this idea?

Yeah I got something I can contribute to this, I was in IC last night, and three players from AD jumped on me and started hitting me sharp metal thingies. I held them off for a long time, and my health meter was still full and I was like "wow this is amazing, I haven't PvP'd in almost a year and I still got it!" Then all of the sudden I had zero health and was dead. Then I remembered why I haven't PvP'd in so long.

Wrong, which is why i didn't bother with the rest of the post.

We used to have hundreds of players in the same spot without lag.
And that was before they removed skill/status effect display on other players and killed all the deer in Cyrodiil.

This is my post about how I feel and I was asking a genuine question. There for I can post what I want to post. That is not how this works. You express how you may feel on a discussion whenever you feel but I HAVE NEVER BASHED YOU or told you to stop posting or how to.

Is that to say that everyone who posts is a negative Nancy, who just loves to indulge in behaving in a toxic manner? No. But, that is to say that people do an awful lot of parroting and unneeded flaming due to the fact that they can hide behind their "cyber fame", as if it's supposed to make them not get called out on their bs and toxicity.

It's to the point that I have a lot of folks on my ignore list who a lot of folks here on these forums would consider to be "icons" or "major contributors" to the ESO community. I don't really care about that, however. And only care about how it is that they treat others. Myself included of course.

Uhhh... have to disagree with you there. I got some assistance from guildies when I went for Emp but I also got assistance from friends and randoms. And said guild wasn't about cheesing anything. You got into first place on the leaderboard through your own merit and had to work at keeping it. There wasn't even any rallying call from the GM, when we finally did the run to get all 6 Emp keeps.

Your not though. I always play the least a populated servers because zerging takes very little skill and is not fun. Never any lag, at all. Even when I pvp EU from CA.

Rubber banding at 2 fps around keeps was the norm. That was with my 100mbs internet.

You need at least 40mbs to bearly lag during zergs. Please post internet speed before you try to call out the game.

@KingYogi415 my blazing internet speed and best hardware does not have anything to do with many people randomly disconnecting from servers when porting to town or getting near a keep at peak times in PVP. I ALWAYS make sure my hardware is on point, however my experience with this game and your experience is and will be different.

I love and bleed this game too as well as being a big fan of elderscrolls HOWEVER........

I want my moneys worth and so far I am not getting that. I want to see change on their end to be able to make things fair in PVP for a majority of the player base. NOT LAG and disconnect when I am in a group of 4 and THEY are not sure if I am coming back or not. I am tired of hearing oh damn.....he/she must have DC'd again.........and we just expect it as the "norm"

What planet are you from? Why on earth (yes earth) should an MMO require a 40mb line to not lag? That reeks of sloppy coding and sloppy trafficking. You can add sloppy client-side validation to that list too.

In the early game most calculations was done on the client, this gave excellent performance, it also made it very easy for cheaters. They moved calculations server side and this overloaded servers and communication.

One smart way to do it would be to keep running most on client and have server verify the client calculations to check for cheaters. You would only need to check some random clients and it did not had to be real time.
If too much weird stuff start logging, and monitor more closely, then disconnect, player would be tagged and would be checked far more often than others.

You want to know why PVP doesn't get fixed? Because it would take real work and real work takes money. And what is the return on that money? A broken system that brings in little to no further money is fixed for a few people that are still willing to suffer the broken system.

The biggest problem with this game is that all they need to do to make real money is reskin a horse or sell a goofy hat with a funny name and people throw money at them. Why spend hundreds of thousands of dollars hiring teams of people and expensive equipment to fix systems only a small part of the gaming community use when they have a far better, FAR better rate of return making a beard, or strap lights to a horses rear and those people that pay a monthly subscription will still buy it.

Take a look at LOTRO. That's was a great game when it came out. Not as popular as some but it was still a great game with great gameplay and a devoted following. A few years after release they go to the free to play model. They get a major influx of money shortly after and then it was cut and paste dungeons, goofy outfits and straight down the tubes.

ESO has far more players and a bigger budget so I imagine it will last awhile longer but the moment the cash shop comes out the best they can hope for is to milk the role players who would rather stand at a fountain and dance in a dress than those of you who found the original mechanics of the game so appealing.

Sorry for the rant, frustration has been building for awhile...

I agree with your original post but... unfortunately there's been many similar posts over time which have raised similar issues of ZO$' lack of involvement/fixes/acknowledgment of errors/faults and none ever yield a victory (change)

I don't often do PVP as I am rubbish at it, I openly admit that

. However I wanted the Achievs.

I am in Australia so we have a higher ping anyway, usually around the 300 mark which is livable. We get used to it. However. On saturday after having to replace my dead graphics card with a GTX 1070 so a bloomin good one, I was in the Q for 4 hours. Once I eventually got in I dc'd 6 times in less than 15 mins. Totally unplayable.

I tried again yesterday in the smaller campaign. It was ok for a bit but then again started to dc, connectivity is appauling. When you are just about to cap a keep and get tonnes of AP and you dc it isn't fun....

Things I hate in pvp:

1. can't weapon swap which = death
2. animation delays followed by 15 different animations at once 5 minutes later
3. getting killed by invisblle men and women
4. disconnets to login screen
