500+ Queues for Cyrodiil this week

I wonder if anyone considered that the regular PvP players are going to have a horrible time getting into Cyrodiil with everyone trying to get their holiday achievements.

500+ queues minutes into the event, with the queue having dropped only about 20 people in 30 minutes.

    The 500 is all queues combined from what I've been told.

    @ZOS_BrianWheeler if the queues are very bad will you be opening up additional campaigns for this event?

    No all campaigns are not poplocked. At the time he is referencing (initial launch) Shor was triple one bar. For some reason people refuse to go to other campaigns.

    The queues are now every faction combined as @Psilent said. For whatever reason ZoS has made this a thing. So while yes the queues are still crazy high already.. they aren't 500+ per faction.

    on top of that.. i got kicked trying to travel to my 1st destination after ressing... Nikel, where it has been identified that all the yellows had arrived. It was the usual overpopulated subserver nonsense that got me kicked.. something that was seen a lot with people trying to get on to Haderus Bleakers for the roleplaying event last time round ;) You would have thought ZOS would have noticed that kind of thing happened last time around.

    Now i can't even connect to the server at all... this is on top of already missing the queue once due to tedious loading screens 1 time around and waiting 2 hours in the queue again to get in before getting kicked after approximately 250 seconds of play.

    Update: It let me back in after trying for 10 mins.. no wonder people are reporting that the queue is doing funny things seeing as i should have been kicked from Vivec after being disconnected for so long...

    Nope they are separate. you can queue for more than 1 campaign at once. I'm currently 425 in non CP and 555 in my main campaign. currently hoping for a server crash so that i stand a chance of getting in.

    Ya know I just thought about something.

    As mentioned the queues now reflect all players trying to get in from all factions on any given server. The tin foil hat appeared on my head making me think ZoS has finally found a way to subdue the "faction imbalance" chatter since we can't compare queues between factions anymore rofl. Putting us even more in the dark as to how population balance is reflected by the bars and locks.

    Is there a Xerxes in elder scrolls lore or are they naming a campaign after a Persian emperor just because?

    At primetime last night EP que on Vivec had passed 600. The que was letting players in around 300.

    EP ques on Shor and Xareses got to around 150 from what I heard.

    What time? 10:30pm-11:30pm EDT PC NA the new campaign was only two bars population for all alliances. Imperial City was empty in the campaign as a matter of fact. I finally finished the Imperial City quest storyline lol.

    Or they mistakenly went into a delve and didn't realize the server will consider you no longer apart of the server pop.

    When this happens you can't enter cyro or leave the delve; do not go into a delve during this event lol.

    This was the solution for the players who were grouping up out side AvA with a AD group leader and 23 DC players to bypass the DC pop lock. How funny was that? Glad to see the suffrage has been spread out.

    Must be a bug, I've been in and out of delves alot without this happening. Only difference was the loadingscreens was a bit longer :smile:
