Not All Morphs are Equal

So why do some morphs take what seems like 10 enemy kills to morph and other ones like...Panacea take millions of XP?
I realize it's on my back bar so it doesn't get that much love, but with 2 other restoration skills equipped I didn't think it would take this long. Heck I even turn in all my quests with the back bar active!
I don't remember EotS taking this long. Oh well, should be tonight.

There are certain skills which need almost 0 exp to be ready to be morphed like vigor and others take longer especially the weapon ultimates0 -

✭Wait until you reach your daily enlightenment. Then drag yourself to a daily dungeon and switch bars right before you earn your experience. A couple hundred thousand experience point should do the trick.0 -

Enlightenment does not count towards skill leveling, only champion points.1 -

On the other hand it looks like the large group debuf you get don't affects skill xp so I found dolmen zergs as good of leveling skills. As for daily dungeons do you get the xp then you kill the last boss?
Grinding just make you go in circles.

A great many class skills are buffs or CCs. A stam can use them without cutting into their main resource.
Are you suggesting make everything into a stam morph so stam builds so they have zero use for their magicka pools
Also, the comparison for stam vs magicka weapons are kinda off. S&B is primarily a tanking weapon. The DPS using that weapon line is less. Only good for a trade off between survival and damage for PvP.0 -
RizzlyBear✭✭✭Each already morphed from rank I to IV will take the same amount of exp.
What it differs is the amount of exp you need from when you unlock it to when you're able to morph the ability.
Some abilities like Vigor take basically 2k exp to choose the morph, some like Cleansing Ritual takes about 200k exp.
If the ability is on top it will take no time (e.g Flurry), if the Ability is on the bottom it will take the most time (e.g Restoring Focus)
That's the way it works. Use Harven Skill Window Improved (something like that) to see the exact amount of exp you need.
Rank III to IV usually takes 412k exp... for already morphed out skills.1
