Evidently you have way too much time on your hands with your fanciful story making. Perhaps use that time more positively and build your own Trade Guild if its so profitable?

No I have read about these guys. They want a global auction house so they make up these fake news stories to feed people. But really they are working with the communist in Russia. They don't believe in capitalism and so want to destroy these poor little mom and pop trading guilds, that make this game great. They have also all hacked into the game, coming from other games. Making them illegal immigrants, here to steal our jobs and gold. Id post the link but I'm not falling into your trap. I'll release more details later. Google it if you want to know the real story. Sick. Just sick.

There are certainly some trade guilds which harbour gold sellers and take advantage of the enormous profits they bring in. But most don't.

Well, and of course the irony is, a lot of the money goldsellers make comes from botting. I mean, why work towards getting gold from a source that will go on the forums and complain, when you can just use fifty-three automated accounts to farm leather scraps in Shadowfen until the end of days?

From what I can see remotely (through TTC), it looks like the EU Temper supply is pretty strained as well.

They want a global auction house...

I know you're cracking jokes, but you're not far off the mark there. To be fair, I don't really think the people on the forums are actually acting as advocates for the goldsellers. The closest we've seen to that were the "suspiciously" similar posts begging for the character delete limit to be removed. But taking the lid off with a global AH would directly benefit the goldsellers far more than anyone else. Including all the players who genuinely believe they'd participate in the economy if only they didn't have to find a guild to join to do so.

Just reported another friendly neighbourhood botter like an hour ago. It's ridiculous that every time I go farming, i run into at least one lost bot. The ones that aren't lost are of course harder to spot while you're focused on your rotation.

The issue really needs more attention from ZOS.

They're already gold sellers even with a system without an AH.

And this is why you will never see me in a trading guild that charges for menbership.

I am in multiple of the top trading guilds on PC NA, and they do not charge any 'dues'. Why, because they are actually legit. The guilds that charge you to be in them are nothing more than a scam. Trust me, I have been in both.....

Yes, but the amount of damage they can do is somewhat moderated at present.

It doesnt make sense, why would they give their gold away? If these guild leaders are handing money to the Chinese they are selling it for dollars/euro's which is against the rules and regulations. In fact, according to the rules these guild leaders should be banned if what you're saying is true. Serious claims require serious evidence and having read some article is hearsay at best.

Agreed, if I was a crafter I'd stock up and wait until the update hits us, watch the market prices and then put the materials and gear out on the market again. Here are items that might see price changes:

    - Raw materials.
    - Refined materials.
    - Tempers.
    - Motifs.
    - Weapons (because of the trait changes).
    - Armor & Jewelry (because of the bonus changes and mundus stone changes).
    - Glyphs (same reasons as above).

Items that might not see changes:

    - Regents (no real change here).
    - Consumables (no real change).

In short, I'd consider buying this before the patch/update because of the potential price spike:

    - Infused weapons (getting a rather large buff).
    - Raw materials and tempers.
    - Precise weapons (getting a slight buff, might challenge sharp as BiS).

Let me know if I missed anything!

I just bought my 52 Dreugh cires, 8 kutas, 8 tempers, 16 resins once week ago.

    Why ?

Major update in term of gear : Price will increase a lot : it's better to bought gold mats when you have gold and when it's cheap or farm gold PTS day1 for buy mats quicly.

People buying all gold mats for selling them at a more expansive price when everyone will need it ? Of course it's happens.

Agreed, I'm gonna go nuts tonight when it comes to buying from guild stores, at least when it comes to dreugh wax, tempering, resin. Watch out! :)
