I have two level 5 ,one hand swords with precise trait (crit increase).
I keep them only for the traits and nothing else (dont actually use any DW spells).

Will the crit increase offered by them diminish if i equip them on a lvl 30 toon ?

They will not scale up no, the scaling of items gets lower and lower as the difference between your level and the items level increases.

Why won't you get matching level weapons? You lose *** of weapon dmg with so low level weapons
    NB enthusiastic:
    1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
    2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
    3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
    4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

They seem fine to pass onto future characters, especially if you want to start em off with dw or one hand and shield.

Other than that I'd pass em along to the deconstruct monster. 5 is such a short level anyways, so I can't imagine it being difficult to find a single weapon to hang onto for a short duration, only to be replaced by no later than 10.

I've used 3-7 gear till 10 no problem, but after a point, especially 30? Yeah... get something else.

Yes, outleveled gear gives less stat bonuses. As for leveling I always use training and have 4 gear tiers for leveling: levels 14, 24, 34, 44. They constantly get passed on as my chars level.

It still factors in the weapon damage from those swords to determine the damage of your class skills.
That's one of the reasons DW sometimes gets used by magical builds... DW gives more base weapon/spell DMG than a destro staff.

If you're new to the game and it's mechanics you might want to be more open for ppl trying to explain you stuff. Weapondamage doesn't just indicate the damage you do with your weapons. It determines the damage (and healing) of ALL your spells and skills that do physical, disease and poison damage. And the better your weapons (both lvl and quality) the higher the boost they give to your weapondamage.

Like others have said, it does matter. When a weapon says "Damage" on its tooltip it gives BOTH Spell damage and Weapon Damage, just the same, Armor pieces has a stat called "Armor" that gives both Spell resistance and Physical Resistance. So getting Dual Wield Swords of your level matters A LOT.
