So now hp regen is getting nerfed, and cloak isn't reliable; is there a reason not be be a vampire

Now-a-days, my templar vamps pretty much for just Mist Form. Bats used to be really good, but it has no burst and is prolly better for tanking, at lest now. I do like the sneak, I won't toss away the 10% regen, and Undeath comes in handy, but I don't think it's worth it if you can get mobility somewhere else.
I use Devouring Swarm heavily; its still really useful IMHO...
I love using it when I'm outnumbered (3k+ healing per target per second) or especially when some Nightblade is trying to blitz me down...

✭✭✭✭✭I purposely do not choose to play a Vampire anymore. It all pans out like this:
Pros
- Increased damage mitigation at low health
- 10% Magicka/Stamina Recovery
Cons
- Fire Damage/Fighters Guild skills are far more deadly against you
- Health Regen is ruined
- You look ugly
Imo, it is generally not worth it.
In PvP a Magicka DK can melt you, and Destro Ults will strike much harder per tick. Also Dawnbreakers deal much more damage. On top of this, a friend providing Troll King will be giving you a lot less healing that they would a Non-Vamp.
The increased damage mitigation is not worth the increased Fire Damage taken, and resources are much easier to acquire by Heavy Attacking as well in PvE (that recovery is the only true reason to go Vamp in PvP).

✭How about the extra fire damage? That has always been the main reason not to be a vampire.
Unless you need mistform, being a vampire in PvP will almost always be a bad tradeoff. Undeath is crap and in no way compensates for the extra damage taken.

Does Undeath actually recalculate mid damage? Because Dawbreaker hits in a single go, it's not a DoT.
