Yes, but reluctantly. I found out my old PvP spirit has all but died. God, I used to be a PvP junkie but not sure what happened now. I guess I kind of got over it.

But even if I wanted to, it doesn't sound like I could. Gonna be queues 500+ by the time I get home from work.
Fortunately I've come to expect VERY little from ESO's events in the year I've been playing this game. I love the game, really, but the events are just so terribly boring, and so poorly planned out..

But not today. I don't have time to waste in 200+ queue.

I would like to but with a ~200 queue at 1:00PM EST on a Thursday, don't see how a working joe like me is going to be able to actually get into a campaign during prime time or on the weekend.
I have a lot of avoidance issues with PvP. I'm also a casual enough player of ESO that I can't be a completionist in this game anyway, so if I miss a festival, I miss it.
But mostly, my mom's staying with a me a few weeks right now while arranging her move to a retirement community near me and my gaming time is far too limited for the duration to let me have a reasonable shot at completing the meta. I've had to reserve an afternoon next week just to get to do the next GW2 story episode before spoilers can get to me Thus I shall vicariously enjoy the Mayhem via forum reports on the glories and disasters that attend it and shall appreciate seeing other players roaming about displaying their rewards.
I'm going to try. *glances at threads about how nobody can get into or stay in Cyrodiil*
I can't get the laurels without breaking down and buying IC, which I'd rather not do, but I'm keeping my options open. If I end up not having to chase achievements, then I'll focus on getting my noobs' pvp skill lines up and collecting goodie bags.
If I can even get into Cyrodiil when I have the time to play.
That said, I'm pleased for PvP players that this event caters to them.
All it's done so far is prevent me (PvP only player) from actually getting into a pvp server. I'm selfishly hoping for a server crash so i can jump the queue by a few hours.
Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.
Rulz of Morrowind:
The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.
Started doing pvp some time ago anyway, so why not. I have enough AP now to buy a monster helmet, which was what I wanted, and it's fun. Unless you try to go through a gate and run right into a DC zerg. Or an EP zerg. Over and over again.
Will also wait a day or two - no point trying to join considering the amount of people queued (and most likely the lag as well).

Normally I'd at least try to do it for the achievements, but I honestly don't know if I will this time. I'm not a fan of PvP, I don't usually go into IC for anything, and I have zero interest in battlegrounds. I went and got the free reward box and the scroll on every character I could. That may be all I wind up doing.
I tried queuing into Vivec early this morning just for a laugh, and at around 8:40am (10:40am Eastern) the queue was already around 150. Sotha Sil was pop locked by the time I finished getting the box/scoll. I don't know what's going on with Shor since I haven't logged in since this morning, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was full or getting full as well. I expect that if I did have the patience to wait out a huge queue, I'd probably crash or get disconnected within minutes of entering Cyrodiil.
I might wait a few days to see if things calm down a bit, but this may just be an event I wind up skipping.
Yes, because I'd be in Cyrodiil or BG most nights anyway. The biggest barrier to my completing the achievements will be Zeni's inability to get out of their own way and deal with queue issues appropriately.
Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you. ~Friedrich Nietzsche
Nah. I hate PvP in this sort of game. (It's fine if you enjoy PvP, but it's not for me.) I'm disappointed that they'd create an event with no PvE component at all.
