Ha good one, never understand those type of people... "I hate it so much I wanna talk about it" LOL
Same, on console though so tried neverwinter for a good bit but it's just too PC'ish, crappy graphics lots of text etc. does everything like eso but the graphics and less things going on here make it much better imo.

This goes for both of you; where did I say I hated eso? I didn't. I loved it while I was playing it, but performance issues turned me away. Also me not playing it means I can't be at the forum for it?

I'm glad that ESO scratches that MMORPG itch for you, OP.ProfesseurFreder wrote: »Out of curiosity and because the trailers looked cool and because I obviously don't have enough on my plate as it is, just now, tonight, I downloaded and tried another popular MMO which shall remain nameless.
And I truly went in with an open mind, WANTING to like it. I was right in the mood for something new to me. Instead -- I hated it. Didn't like the character design, didn't like the graphics, didn't like the way the controls handled AT ALL. The "choices" that I was given to begin the character's "story" were not particularly consequential. The game was all teeny-tiny figures in a landscape that was much cartoonier than the trailers had shown. And just as I was starting to realize how much I didn't like all this... it crashed on me.
So. that was a considerable hunk of gigabytes that got sent straight to the trash. Could not uninstall it fast enough.
This makes two other major MMOs that I've tried besides ESO and -- Warts and all, I think "our" game is head and shoulders above the competition, no contest. And no, I'm not on the ZOS payroll! All it took was experiencing the competition for about ten minutes to send me running back here.
