Sooooo.....yea I really want this achievement I have been reading on forums that you need to have impenetrable?

Which would be the best monster set to go into pvp with as well as the best-crafted set? Should I wear all light armor and finally which mundas stone should I equip for pvp? which ultimates would be most effective?

I am a magicka templar

I want to deal damage and get 50 kills achievement.......not heal.

PLEASE HELP!

    Julianos = Staves frontbar/backbar + 4 body pieces
Shoulder = Molag Kena 1 piece
Rest War Maiden or Rattlecage probably or something more defensive such as Pariah.

I'm finding seducer better than Julianos due to having heavy impen armour. With Julia I'm finding my sustain sucks donkey balls. I'm getting most of my dps from willpower jewellery, spellpower pots and my monster set.

Sustain and surviving are two big problems. I am using a heavy Seducers set and Grothdarr most of the time in PvP. If I am running with a large group I also have Vicious Death. I use the heavy Seducers when I DPS or when I heal and it seems to be working well. Usually I am not concerned with killing blows so concentrate on AoE.

Killing blows being what you need single target skills would be in part the way to go. When I run around in the sewers or Imperial City hunting telvar stones I like to have piercing javelin, toppling charge and puncturing strikes on one bar. That way if I run into an enemy player (sometimes I can survive running into two) I have a chance of thumping them. I try to javelin them then charge then strike. If they survive that but are low on health I can finish with radiant destruction. If they are tanky I plan on the long fight and hope they run out of resources before I do.

For groups and getting a killing blow if you can time the javelin and toppling charge just right you might be able to get the killing blows. Toppling charge is also a good way to find yourself surrounded though so expect to die a lot.

And that radiant destruction can come in very handy while in or around a keep. Siege weapons will also work.

Yeah that is good too, but OP wanted "DPS" specifically and that is why I suggested Julianos. I also use Seducer on my Templar but my DPS is somewhat lacking. But then again my Templar is a "DPS viable vet dungeon healer" (def. not a trial healer) so I don't need to be able to go nuts with DPS.

You have very good points, but if OP is running with a zerg I don't think anyone's going to survive very long under a focus attack. It's more of kill or be killed kind of situation so I think OP can stick to zergs, focus on DPS and try to get as much hit in as possible.

I have a question regarding set bonuses: I have 5 pieces of Seducer and 4 pieces of Julianos (2 staves, head, shoulders) yet my bonus is only at 3 items not 4. Why is that? Do the double staves only count as 1 item?

Yes, a staff only counts on the bar on which it is used.

I'm not changing a thing from my usual "PVE" set as I guess everyone calls it (Seducer, Magnus, Warlock)

I'm gonna get rolled going toe to toe with anyone, so I'll grind out the support role with my light armor Templar healer main.

Yep, imma get my arse handed to me as well. I have only been playing for a couple months, and this game still barely makes any sense to me (its my very 1st MMO). All these sets, all the shortened words. I am so confused. I'm at CP 202, but still get my majik butt handed to me.

I pvp exclusively on my Magplar, I run 5 heavy soulshine, 5 vicious death with Dw on front bar, back bar vma lightning. Light and med grothgar or skoria depending on what is going on/how I feel like playing.

If you wanna craft gear, heavy kags or julianos will both perform well. Kags if you need some help with sustain.

If you're not gonna run vd, you can wear willpower jewelry and craft torugs weapons.

You'll get a ton of different answers here, and there's no "you must run this".

you have to be geared out in a way that makes sense but it's more about responding to attacks and managing your resources.

    Best of luck to ya

Soulshine/ Lich/ Skoria is my favorite. I only play on non CP, but it should work in CP as well.

Other combinations are Rattlecage/Lich or seducer/willpower or BSW/ transmutation.

I would look to Kags or Seducer for a crafted set on a templar. Kags will be a little more DPS, Seducer, a little more sustain. If you want to be a little more aggressive, Clever Alchemist can give your Jesus Beam a little extra burst. I would personally go with Heavy Armor, especially if you are new to PVP. Light armor is perfectly viable and you will hit harder, but you wont get KBs if you are dead.

mTemplar is actually a pretty good class for KBs. Play back, soften them up with reflective light, and when you see an enemy is getting pressured by someone else, Jesus Beam their face off. Make sure you try to keep channeled focus up at all times, and dont hesitate to use cleansing ritual frequently. Breath of Life is a nice Oh Crap button, but if you find yourself spamming it, get out of there before you die.

In terms of a monster set, lot's of them are viable. I would look to help your defense and sustain before you look to damage until you feel comfortable. Radiant Destruction will get you your KBs if you are patient.

Don't go maiden, it's not very good at all, and it's light armour so you will need its jewles meaning you can't use those slots for other good light sets

I did some battlegrounds earlier today. With the heavy Seducers, Willpower jewelry and Grothgarr monster set I was able to get six kills in one battle. Was in capture the flag and I just followed a teammate when they grabbed a flag. Flags attract attention so plenty of targets. I would activate proxy detonation try to time it so I could javelin someone then have det go off same time as I got to them using toppling charge. Got lucky a couple of times and the Grothgarr went off at the same time as well giving me the kill. The others I had to either jab a couple of times or just beam them down. I'm only average at best doing damage in PvP and suck in duels but this was working for me.

Same battle a player on my team (was a pug so I got lucky) got 28 kills just farming the captured flag. For players not so good at PvP battlegrounds might be the way to go. Just try and pick off the weak when you can.

Oh and I saw several lower level players in battlegrounds today. Jumping in early on in the event might be the way to go. You have players trying to get the achievement on alts and players not usually doing PvP trying for the achievement so better chance of meeting someone that flails around in there as bad as we do.
