Total number of master writ vouchers required for all attunable crafting stations = 28500?

I got curious because there was a post of video with all attunable crafting stations on one floor. Just want to stop you right there and ask that you not judge housing in one way or another. This thread isn't about whether housing is good or not, just doing some math here.

So, I believe there are 38 craftable sets in the game as of today 7/19/17. With that said, is the total number of master writ vouchers required to have ALL attunable crafting stations 28500 (250*3*38)? If true, the number is absolutely insane! Disclosure: I'm NOT going to try and obtain these crafting stations, but I am curious.

With that said I have following questions:

1. How many master writ vouchers do you typically get per character per day? Include details such as "I don't always have all the mats" or "I only do these writs per day because others aren't worth doing" or "not all of my characters have these craft skills maxed so I can only do these writs"
2. How much is each master writ voucher worth?
3. How many attunable crafting stations do you have so far yourself, and how long did it take you?
4. Do you plan on eventually collecting all of the attunable crafting stations?

    1. On average, maybe one? I only do writs on one character.
    2. No idea, probably 1k or 2k.
    3. Zero, and it's taken me no time at all!
    4. No. Attunable crafting stations are a convenience that are not nearly worth the considerable time investment.

That said, I don't think the intent was ever that anyone would catch 'em all, as it were. They're more for guilds that can draw in larger numbers of writ vouchers from all their members. My trading guild currently has two in their guildhall.

    Hmm..

1K per voucher would take total cost of all attunable crafting stations to 28.5M gold.
2K per voucher would take total cost of all attunable crafting stations to 57M gold.

Keep in mind that you cannot actually buy vouchers. You can only buy master writs. This would potentially increase the cost unless one happened to have enough mats on hand to make the required items for 29 thousand vouchers' worth of writs.

Voucher prices are below 1k now. In fact, the only writs I'd even pay 1k per voucher for are the 200+ ones. Anything less isn't worth the mats needed on console.

One thing to take into consideration here is possibility of donations. I'm in a guild with an acting guild house that takes master writ donations for the purpose of having as many crafting stations as possible.

None, I have normal stations, but thats about it. If I would be more interested in housing and there wasnt item limit, I'd get copies of IC stations and maybe some of those I use more often.
    4. Do you plan on eventually collecting all of the attunable crafting stations?

Oh my god. Only 1-2 usually per char? Let's say you get 1.5 voucher per char. I have 6 characters with three maxed craft skills each. If I were to attempt collecting all stations it would take many years.
One of my guild halls has all the attunable crafting stations. It's nice!

Are these crafting stations attached to the guild or guild leader's personal home? It matters because if you've donated and later guild leader takes off for whatever the reason these stations will go with him/her.

    1. How many master writ vouchers do you typically get per character per day?
if I'm lucky, maybe one per week, and I do the writs on 6 different characters. So far have only found very small writs, nothing big. Doing the daily writs is not an efficient way to earn vouchers. You must spend gold to buy the large master writs.

    2. How much is each master writ voucher worth?
On NA PC right now the avg selling price is around 700-900 gold per voucher, perhaps a bit less if the writ requires Nirncrux, Akaviri motif or legendary tempers.

    3. How many attunable crafting stations do you have so far yourself, and how long did it take you?
Three so far, two are from large master writs that I purchased with gold and in one case I spent gold to buy the complete attunable station.

    4. Do you plan on eventually collecting all of the attunable crafting stations?
Unfortunately, too many of the crafted sets are trash. I would like to buy all the good ones, though. Starting with the ones I tend to use more often: Clever Alchemist, Julianos, Hunding Rage, Seducer, Eternal Hunt, Night Mother, Night Silence, Pellinal's, TBS, etc

Do you really need them though? How hard is it to travel to craft station in X zone???? I got the 3 set from IC just because they are definitely a hassle when filling master writs, but otherwise there are 3-4 sets worth crafting and all near waypoints.

Well if one of your friends has attunable station, it enables you to make the sets that normally require DLC purchase to access. Also if you keep making Julianos, Hunding Rage etc over and over for friends, it saves time to have them all in your house.

Very good points actually. Although the cost still wouldn't necessarily justify the convenience, these are pretty good reasons for having attunable craft stations when you have nothing else to spend gold on.

Well, I imagine your guildie might appreciate having some of those stations conveniently in his house or you being able to make them yourself.

In my case I have different characters that know the blacksmith, clothing, woodworking traits, so to make some combination of hunding rage and eternal hunt for example, it's kind of a pain because I have to log on to multiple characters and travel to those zones etc.

I do writs daily on 5 characters in smithing, woodworking, and clothier. Only 2 of my characters have all crafts up to 50 and I will do enchanting, alchemy, provisioning on them too even though the master writs they provide are pretty low in voucher quantities.. points are points.

Lately I feel like I get a writ or two a day and its an o.k. pace I guess.. I now have 2 tables in my house and I've only been grinding it for about week or two since I saved up enough gold to buy my house. I got super lucky though and had a 271 voucher writ one night, and a 100 voucher writ the following night.

Knowing a lot of complete style motifs on your crafter is supposed to help with the drop rate, but... the 271 writ I got was on a char that has 2 styles and my main has about 30 styles.. lol *shrug* RNG strikes again.

As for why I am doing it, I want to eliminate the need to ever have to step foot in IC again. ;)

I do writs on one character religiously, and two others here and there. My main/master crafter has the most achievement points and knows the most recipes/motifs so I only really care if I do writs on her.

I do not get master writs every day. Some days I get none, same days I get 4. The amount of vouchers they reward varies. For the most part what I get rewards under 10 vouchers, with maybe one a week that rewards more.

Master Writs are worth under 1k per voucher now on PC/NA.

I have zero attunable crafting stations, but I am in a trading guild that has them all.

I will not be collecting my own attunable crafting stations. I will just never leave this guild lol.

    2. How much is each master writ voucher worth?
    5-75 wouchers.

The lowest I've seen is 2 vouchers. This is pretty common on enchanting, alchemy, and provisioning writs. Alchemy caps at 5 vouchers (really there only are 2 voucher and 5 voucher writs for alchemy). Enchanting and Provisioning cap at 10 (legendary prismatic for enchanting, and the gold Wrothgar recipe for Provisioning).

A legendary, nirnhoned, Akaviri Redistributor Resto staff once netted me 245 vouchers. The highest I remember seeing was 250 something. Anything above 100 is semi-rare. Above 200 is very rare. Usually, equipment writs will pay out between 5 and 7. There is, supposedly, a system that weighs multiple factors and modifies the voucher payout accordingly. I think this is multiplicative (it fits with the numbers I've seen, and helps to explain the massive ranges on higher value writs), but, honestly, I'm not sure.

The weighting has to do with achievements earned for that craft. Or at least, that's how it's supposed to work. Does it actually? I have no idea.

Weird. I've actually gotten that one in the past, but it was for a lower amount. It might have actually been 20. But, same writ, same legendary prismatic onslaught glyph.

    Weird...

Also, it occurs to me that I have seen a 270 equipment writ before.

Alchemy caps at 5 vouchers (really there only are 2 voucher and 5 voucher writs for alchemy). Enchanting and Provisioning cap at 10 (legendary prismatic for enchanting, and the gold Wrothgar recipe for Provisioning).

They are rare, but I've seen some bigger ones for enchanting https://us.tamrieltradecentre.com/pc/Trade/Detail/160112821

Weird. I've actually gotten that one in the past, but it was for a lower amount. It might have actually been 20. But, same writ, same legendary prismatic onslaught glyph.

    Weird...

Also, it occurs to me that I have seen a 270 equipment writ before.

There are some that provide over 500 vouchers

Interesting. On a whim I went and checked the Meat Market. There's actually a pair of 40 voucher Legendary, Truly Superb Glyph of Prismatic Defense writs in there. I'd never seen that before.

    1. How many master writ vouchers do you typically get per character per day? Include details such as "I don't always have all the mats" or "I only do these writs per day because others aren't worth doing" or "not all of my characters have these craft skills maxed so I can only do these writs"
I have two characters that have max craft skills - one has all the traits and, all the singel book motifs (including Imperial) and about half of the motif's that come as chapters.

The other is close to getting all traits and has all the single book motfis (except imperial), and a few of the motifs that come as chapters.

I see no meaningful difference between the rate of getting writs with these characters.

The rate is abysmal for both - about 1 or 2 a week. And 99& of them are for 6 vouchers or less. I have gotten two big ones, around 80 or so, and none with 100 or more. Largest voucher I've seen was for 350... Having such a large range in already really low RNG is very demotivating.

Unsurprisingly I do not bother to do the writs everyday anymore. It's soul drainingly disappointing waste of my time. (I do get Kuta all the time though - have a surplus of over 60 at the moment - pretty much all from writs.)

I really only bother with writs anymore when there is some external reason for doing them. Like when we got extra goodies for doing dailies during that one event. Or because the next update is going to make changes in the store, and I gotta grind vouchers before the change takes place.

Thus I've been doing them daily now for 2 weeks, and have got 4 writs for it all. A 5 voucher alchemy writ, a 2 voucher enchanting writ, a 2 voucher provision writ, and a 40 voucher legendary writ that was almost pointless to craft. The cost of those legendary mats made the price per voucher way too high. Best plan would've been to sell it, and sell those legendary mats use the gold for something more sensible. But did it anyway, since I need a lot of vouchers fast, before the next update hits live, and all those recipes will be gone from the store.
    3. How much is each master writ voucher worth?
99% percent of all my vouchers have come from purchased writs. These days I am not willing to pay more than 500 per voucher. It just isn't worth it. And I avoid woodworking writs since the price of those tempers has gone up a lot due to them being needed for housing. They are rarely available cheap enough to be worth doing.

I buy mostly epic tier stuff, since people ask way too much for legendary tier writs for them to be economically sound. I do accept a big bigger cost per voucher on those due to the time I save in doing just one writ for large amount of vouchers, but doing 10 seven voucher epic writs is lot cheaper, than doing one 70 voucher legendary writ. At the end of it all, those vouchers you get from the legendary may very well end up costing double when compared to those you get from the epic ones. Legendary mats are not cheap.
How many attunable crafting stations do you have so far yourself, and how long did it take you?
None - never will buy any. So no time spent on them either.
    4. Do you plan on eventually collecting all of the attunable crafting stations?
My rate for getting writs is way too bad to even think about it. Besides, where would I put them all? They would require lot of furnishing slots and actual physical space. It's more of a guildhall type a thing - and I happen to have access to a guild that has most of the hard to reach ones available .

    1. How many master writ vouchers do you typically get per character per day?
According to my stats of 4100 writs done I've averaged 0.7 vouchers/writ, or 4.2 vouchers/character/day. Assuming you did writs on all 14 characters every day it would take you some 475 days to get the 28.5k vouchers.

    2. How much is each master writ voucher worth?
Our recent stats of master writ prices shows an average around 1k/voucher on PC-NA.
