Only your blinkered view of kids being more entitled when it comes to gaming. Either take the rose tinted specs off or get a clue.
It's not just gaming, it everything in life. Anyone under 25 thinks they're entitled to everything for free without having to work for it.

You answered just before i was about to edit my response. After reading it back, I was being a bit of a *** with my response. There was no need to jump down your throat. Apologies, mate.
No, it's fine. But with all the countless thread people make about "I want everything without having to buy any of the dlc content" or "I want max level and all gold gear from the start" just keep pushing it farther, until ZOS finally just says "*** it, here have everything" and they stop making content and doing updates.
Craft them some gear, teach an basic one bar rotation as in DoT and spam and they have no issue.I get it, I have just seen so many of my friends fizzle out and die. Since everyone says it is so easy, would this really be such a big deal since it would help big time with the players mindset?
You all have made good points...and I really wanted to $&"@/ slap my friend the other day. He was doing pve content and kept dying. He asked if I could come help him, so I left cyroldil (just waited through a 107 que). And he was in a the damn harborage.
Noob moment.

In the entire history of MMO's, that's never happened.
Your hyperbole is indicitive of your warped view of the situation.
I have a friend who recently picked up ESO on Xbox. Myself and the 3 other people I always run with are already 500CP+.
As of right now, he is a level 33 and is overwhelmed. Not just with the game but with the daunting task in front of him. Now, I can appreciate the grind, and the fact that we all had to do it, however should ZOS add some kind of catch up mechanic to make it more inviting to new players?
We need to keep a healthy new player base, and I know we already have lower amount of xp needed at the low champion points but it still seems insane to new players.
Do you think zos should include an auto-160cp once you hit level 50 when you purchase a new copy of morrowind? This would help with the daunting amount of CP it takes to catch up to current players and give them an obtainable goal, especially when it comes to using the available gear.
I feel bad for my friend, especially with the fact he may never catch up. This would really help our casuals- which we NEED to keep the game moving forward.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. We love reading your enthusiasm on this new system. Our goal is to make it as polished and awesome as possible before releasing to the live servers. The three main changes we’re looking to make are:
- Reducing the speed at which XP per point accelerates. Our data shows there is a good number of people in the 300 champion point range and we didn’t want them to feel like they had to grind all the way to 501 before the system releases. This now means players are gaining champion points faster than the old value up until their 445th point.
- Slightly increasing base XP. This helps normalize the curve a bit so players are spending a little more time in the beginning of the curve and less time at the end of the curve.
- Reducing the XP penalty for players past cap. We want dedicated players to still be able to make meaningful progress.
The formula would be adjusted in the following way to meet these goals:
- ((TotalPoints / (Cap ^ 0.995)) + 0.085) * 400000, where Total Points is how many CP points you’ve earned.
- If you exceed the cap, the XP required is calculated given the above formula and then multiplied by 1.5.
- For the first Champion Point (going from 0 Champion Points to 1 Champion Point) 34000 XP is required.

Please don't suggest this XD
All the Skyreach levels I've met are trash at PVP and terrible with dungeon mechanics.
Skyreach levelers are the lazy players that make everything harder for everyone else because they never took the time to learn the game.
Tell your friend to do the main story, then his faction storyline, and the random quests while research what build he wants to make.
The worlds not as big as people think it is =/

When I started playing I didn't grind or even care to play or understand the game on the level of cp 600s at the time.
I spent my time questing, exploring, and under 50 PVP until I hit 160. It's my till this point that I began really understanding the game mechanics, doing dungeons, farming gear, etc.
I now play PVP with my 630 friends, and although I'm only at 280 so far I'm still able to compete and have a great time.
What's the rush? I started playing in mid-December. By end of January I had one character at lvl 50. Two weeks later, CP160. Today, three fully leveled characters (DK tank, magsorc, magplar) CP480. My main finally has a fully leveled horse this week, I'm almost an 8-trait crafter across the board. I've never grinded anything just for XP. I just play what I want to play. And I wouldn't have wanted _any_ of it to have been easier or faster. And there's plenty left to do!
This game???
Have you played WoW?
Have you played EQ?
This game max level in a day...
Not like WoW
Not like EQ
Much harder and difficult games.

If OP thinks it is bad now, they should have been around when VR levels were here- no scaling, level based zone difficulty, group based areas, only a fraction of the sets were available for end-game use. 1T dumbed the game down to where anyone can pick it up and start playing anything in the game except for the end-game.... by end-game, I mean vet dungeons and vet trials. And they have already altered how CP gain works to make it easier on newer players several times now

I don't think the game should hand out levels just for showing up though. I want as many new players to join the game as possible so it can stay alive and vibrant, but I can live without the ones that can't handle too many options placed in front of them.
