The slaughterfish in the River Niben in Cyrodiil are there to force you to use one of the three bridges to cross between AD and EP territory, in the same way that you have to use the gates to cross between DC/EP and DC/AD territories.

Thank you. I understand why they put them in the Cyrodill rivers. The effect is that it restricts us to only crossing the bridge which should be the quickest, and easiest way to cross the river, but it would be fun to cross the river at other places too. It should be more difficult, and take longer, but this would lead to a lot of fun game play, and strategy.
