Any hope they might reduce the slaugterfish restricting effect in some areas someday?

Such as the rivers in Cyrodiil, or places like the Gold coast where I can see Valenwood from the shore, or Stonefalls to Vvardenfell. I would love to able to swim to these places.

I understand that certain places that have not yet been developed would be restricted, but if the player already has access to the location it would go a long way to making the world feel more connected.

    Lingering Heal (Vigor) + Mount + Major Expedition + Ledge + Properly timed Jump + Block cancel mount before hitting water + good location = Clearing the river with at least 20% health left. Also, they'd have to rework the terrain near the rivers, as a lot of it is impassable terrain (can't climb it).

    I look at it as more of a fun challenge. Also great for gankers to get behind the enemy on the AD/EP kill bridge.

    Unfortunately, there is no Valenwood at all. Just a few sprites as stubs.

    Slaughterfish is to prevent us from going where we are not intended to be. Often it's the edge of the actual playable map. Running into a wall is the best best thing.

    So doubtful. Besides, one gets an achievement.

    When they release underwater combat.

    Only the best of the best MMORPG developers can handle making underwater combat code.

    Seems like a quick loading screen would fix that, or better something like what happens when one rides, or walks into the Rift from Stonefalls, I see a black screen for about a second.

    The slaughterfish in the River Niben in Cyrodiil are there to force you to use one of the three bridges to cross between AD and EP territory, in the same way that you have to use the gates to cross between DC/EP and DC/AD territories.

    Thank you. I understand why they put them in the Cyrodill rivers. The effect is that it restricts us to only crossing the bridge which should be the quickest, and easiest way to cross the river, but it would be fun to cross the river at other places too. It should be more difficult, and take longer, but this would lead to a lot of fun game play, and strategy.

    One day we will be able to 3 dimensionally swim in the waters of nirn. I believe it to be true. It will be years from now though. Featuring a maomer dlc/chapter along side the ability to make a maomer character

    Which means that when there are 30 players per side actually in the game, and an invading squad of 24 players crosses the river some place that you can't possibly monitor, they can crush your defenses before you have a clue that they're even on your side of the Rubicon.
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    Exactly. Do you precive that as negative? It seems to depend on which side you are on. Either way it adds more action, strategy, and excitment!
