Exactly, too bad forum team has been tagged 4 times in this thread and still no word of why or why not they'd want to do this, because i cant imagine they'd still be using the same excuse for not doing it a while back

This is partly why I'm hesitant. I hate looking at the candy-apple red weapons that we have right now. I shudder to think of all the pepto bismol-pink Warhammers we're going to see if they do this. I realize there is a reason they are red but I'm hopeful it can be muted a bit or at the very least there could be concurrently good materials (like Dragonbone and Daedric were in skyrim for instance).
@dodgehopper How often do you encounter pink armor now? I'm not convinced many people would dye their weapons pink, especially not after the novelty wears off in a week or two

Like I see people running around in full bubble gum blue or Pepto pink armour all the time but don’t really care, its their character not mine and its not like this fantasy game encourages immersion or realism.... besides decent graphics focus less on others and more on yourself and I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you choose to do. They're already pink! if even 1 person dyes their weapon to realistic colors, its already an improvement.

Instead, it is just another poll (of dozens) asking for weapon dyeing. But yeah, I do agree that we are way past due for the ability to dye our weapons.

People who vote no because they don’t want people running around with pink weapons are either;
1. Control Freaks hyper-focused on others and everything they can and cannot do.
2. Forgetting the fact that depending on the weapon you have its already bright pink or bright red.
Lets hear some good reasons as to why we shouldn’t have this option, if you've voted no

If not giving us full dye control, at least allow us to recolour weapons according to the existing ore schemes. Eg. I walk up to a crafting station with my red max level weapon, apply some orichalcum and voila, it's green.0 -
