Purple is easy enough to farm. If you rotate between dolmens for a couple of hours you'll have plenty. Also sold cheap in guild traders.

No idea what game you're now playing but you will not have plenty of purple jewellery after 2 hours, especially in the set you need. The drops have obviously been nerf'd and there's a reason why it's shot up in price for the most desirable sets (that and because the update has given them a new lease of life). Of course this is PS4, so no idea about prices on PC. But they don't drop 10 to the dozen.
If someone wishes to prove me wrong and is on PS4, then I'll happily buy those spriggans rings and necks for peanuts or will go farming for 2 hours and stand there in awe at their piles of purple jewellery they've managed to obtain within that 2 hours.

Maybe that is what OP wants. Clearly Zos isn't going to keep the same drop rate and improve the quality.
