It has so much potential. I'm in 4 discords for endgame PVE, and all of them struggle to fill rosters for raids. In homestead, we struggled to get on the rosters because of how fun it was. The fun is fin, ZOS. Why? Why did you kill the fun?

The only game I am aware of that continues but lost their high end raiding is SWTOR. Not only did they dumb the game down significantly but they decided they were no longer interested in the raiding community. They haven't added a new raid in two years so the high end raiding community no longer had a reason to continue.
ESO just released a new trial and a mini-trial is due to be released later this year.

Not really clarifying on why they killed ESO.. But the majority of the people rage quit because sustaining is apparently too difficult for them..

Ill take all gold and mats during exodus !
MMOs buff gear, nerf gear, add new sets that are occasionally superior, and sometimes raise the gear cap entirely to render your last tier useless. That's the nature of the beast.
However, I do agree that the RNG grind is garbage and the real issue. ESO NEEDS a pity token system or something to alleviate the RNG nightmare that is farming for a BIS trait, especially for weapons.

It's not that it's difficult - it's become a CHORE. No one likes CHORES - they play games to escape from chores, not to be saddled with them, lol. Combat is SLOW and monotonous. Having to use highly specific setups to briefly play like they used to be able to do in Homestead is ridiculous. Sustain changes solved nothing in PvP and made PvE miserable.

The buff/nerf cycle isn't the problem. The problem in ESO is that ZoS' buff/nerf cycle is ERRATIC, player feedback is frequently ignored, and pve combat suffers anytime a change in pvp is made because the two are not separate like they should be.
