Potential Bug - Warden's Nature Gift

I have been testing Warden on both PTS and Live, and have noticed that the Nature's Gift passive does not work consistently with many other in game mechanics.

"When healing an ally with a Green Balance ability, gain 250 Magicka or Stamina. Restores your lowest resource pool."

Most skills that proc on "healing an ally" can proc when you heal yourself. See Prayer Shawl, Transmutation, etc. However, Nature's Gift does not proc in this fashion (only works when you heal others).

Can we get a comment about whether this passive should proc when you heal yourself? Thanks!

    A lot of abilities used to count player as an "ally", but I think they might have changed it.
    That's why NG doesn't proc when healing yourself. We still have no clarification if this is intended or not though.

    Its a pretty bad tooltip if its not meant to heal the caster. I'd like to point out that a similar problem seems to exist with the maturation passive.

    Maturation has obscure description. It works on yourself, or anybody, really, but only when you not just heal, but restore health. Targets with full health don't gain minor toughness buff.

    ESO is notorious for unclear and badly worded tooltips. A lot of complaints about that all over the internet.

    I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. I see that you guys at Zeni are doing a lot of work this patch updating less clear tooltips. Would you be willing to clarify this tooltip?

    It seems to me that it should proc on self (like maturation passive in warden tree), but I'm sure the dev team knows what they want it to be.

    When you compare it with other passives it is pretty obvious it is intended. It could use better worded tooltip tho.
    "healing you" => affect only you
    "healing you and ally" > affect anyone
    "healing" => affects only ally

    Affecting selfhealing, It would literally better than actual active (and the only existing) sustain skill for nightblades.

    Lotus could use better tooltip too. It has "healing you or ally" and while that is the right way to phrase it, many people dont get that it heals only one (either you... or an ally) each tick.
