I opened my 5 free crown crates and this is what I got...

First crate - Legendary dwemer helmet that I already owned so 33 gems
Second crate - Dwarven guar! And a Nix-hound just to be sure
Third crate - Epic memento I already owned
The last 2 crates had an Ordinator costume and a Nix-hound in them, nothing I didn't previously own.
So overall, pretty good luck. More so because the guar was the only Dwarven mount that I wanted, I didn't really care for the others. And after buying a bunch of crates, I didn't really expect one.PC EU - Ebonheart Pact

On the first day when the event started, have u been loged in before it began and did not relog until the next day?
As far as i know it only counts the first day if u log in again after the event began.2 -

I got ripped off a crate due to them changing the start time after i had already logged in.
So from my 4 crates i had 2 nix hounds and 6 crown mimic stones plus other crap.

Basically my guild is making a event that we all open our crates together on the US server, but it doesn't start until the evening, so I'm wondering if I can open the EU crates to tide my urge to open them until then, or would I lose the crates to the hardly used EU server and have none for the US server?Hoping for more playable races0 -

✭Don't forget to open the ones on both your US and EU account! Logged over to my US 'free to play' character and got 40 crown gems worth of stuff, a costume, three pets (including a nix hound) and the dwarven wolf. I also received Hand of Almalexia, Ordinator Night-Raid Armor, and Nedic Keptu Armor Costumes. Which in my opinion are all ugly costumes I would never buy much less put on. These crates are a joke! I will never buy them.NA/PC

Well I'm from Australia so it's a bit hard to know when the 'day' actually started. I played everyday before, through and after the period so I thought I'd qualify for the 5 crates.
I was not made aware of any requirement to log on and off or face the sun on the 1st day.
I assumed playing the game would be adequate. But frankly it doesnt surprise me in the slightest that it wasn't.

Balgost✭✭✭I subscribed on Day2 so I received 4 crates. Did not get a nix hound. I got two nice costumes (Nedic Duraki and Ordinator Night-Raid) and a mossy netch pet along with some potions. But, the kicker was some kind of sweetroll worth 400 crown gems so when I converted the sweetroll and potions I now have 417 crown gems to spend.2 -
ZigoSid✭✭✭✭Got some cool things : Narsis Guar, Gorne striped wolf, classic ordinator, nede costume (the one without shoulders) dwemer eyebrow and ... ... ... nix hound of course.
And with all the consumables I reached 44 gems so I could take that Whiterun hairstyle for my argonian ^^'0 -

I opened 15 crates when they came out and got the vitrine wolf and the dwarven senche so I guess the mounts were pretty lucky for me this time. Shame I don't really like them. I've probably used all my luck here and won't get anything awesome in the cool Halloween crates.PC NA

Knowing how hostile rng can be in this game, and knowing dropchances r weighted in crowncrates, and knowing that u can't trade unwanted stuff 1:1 (e.g. u want the dwarwen tiger, but u got the dwarven horse, so u convert the horse into gems and buy the tiger), well i have no problem with crowncrates existing, but would never buy one myself.
If that event was supposed to convice me otherwise: Better luck next time! XD1 -

I got three Nix-hounds, a baby Netch, and a bunch of potions, scrolls and appearance bits all of which got traded for crown gems where possible (I now have the grand total of 28, maybe this time next year I'll have enough to actually buy something).
Not really, not yet, but probably what I will get after maintenance is completed.
