So I re-morphed my skills and was quite shocked at what happened...

Have I missed something? I know ZOS re-positioned some skills but I can't see how that would affect this. Let me explain:

So I just re-morphed my skills on my Stamsorc since I had Quick Cloak instead of Deadly Cloak. I just wanted to change 1 damn skill.

When I started fixing my skills and morphing them I noticed a few skills that I had morphed to the max before, couldn't be morphed now, namely:

Twin Slashes, Poison Arrow and Bound Armor - Essential skills for the Stamsorc build. I have ALL the necessary skill trees maxed out since long before today. But now I can't morph these skills? What the hell? They were maxed out before, how can they not even be "morphable" now?

So I have to regain experience for these skills in order to morph them? Even though I've gained experience with them slotted before 1000x over?

Someone give me a hand here, have I missed something?

Forgive me for sounding lazy, but I just don't have the motivation to grind xp just to morph these abilities again. Sure, I still need xp to gain CP (I'm at 538), but I'm just sick and tired of the grind. If I'd known this I would never have paid for the damn re-morph. FML.

Yeah, disregard my rant, tried leveling up twin slashes, once it reached level 4 and I morphed it to its previous morph it was at level 4 right away.

Though you need to grind your way to the point at which you can morph the skill, so that kinda sucks but still better than grinding back it all even after morphing the skill.

So I guess I'm like 50 % more satisfied right now

The xp to get poison inject atm is stupid huge... im still on 3 to get the morph for poison inject

They changed the order of the skills on a previous update, as you said. It changed the amount of experience required for leveling them, as the cost increases when you go down the skill line.

Yeah when they changed the order in which skills unlocked, it adjusted the amount of XP required to morph it.

Yes I noticed this too but when you rank the skill back up with a little xp you can re-morph, and if you choose the same morph you leveled before it goes straight back to rank 4.

They have already said that is something they want and are working on, its just not as easy to do and not high priority.

Had the same problem as you're having now, OP. Sent a /bug report but until now there are no responses. I think I sent the report a week after Morrowind release.
