This. I run with guildies and they know I appreciate what they do. Not just the healers, but all the people in the group. As for PUG healers, I don't trust them, so I make sure I can keep myself alive regardless if I am tanking or DD.
I've played all roles in this game and healing is not hard. Most dungeons you can get away with just some hots and not worry about heals and just debuff, buff and dps. Healers have some idea that they are super special and deserve special recognition.
Hitting good dps numbers is harder than healing and tanking for most of this games content.
But anyway, do you need recognition and appreciation for fulfilling your role?
