So it's been about a few days since the PTS patch notes for Update 15, and some people have had a chance to test the changes in action.
As most of us now know, the Thief will be getting the axe next month. I'm curious to see what everyones take is on the changed mundus stones.
So I ask the question: What will be the next "best" mundus after Update 15? (best being a relative term based on what your character does, of course).

✭✭✭✭I'm gonna say shadow is top dog in Pvp. It already outperformed thief on light and medium builds and will continue to give you a ton of burst.

For PVE I predict:
Shadow or Thief if you use sharpened weapons
Lover if you use precise weapons0 -

✭✭It depends in PvE. On a Stamblade, Shadow is the highest peak DPS. On a Stamplar, Lover is higher. Either way, most mundus stones are very very close to each other in terms of DPS. Its just not all about penetration anymore.@ Izaki #PCEU

✭✭Pretty sure on PvE magicka dps (except for DW templar) it will be Thief + Sharpened or Lover + Precise.
Munduses and Traits got changed, not penetration itself. That being said, you still need enough penetration to fully penetrate bosses. So either you go with sharpened and Thief (or possibly Shadow) and put more points into Spell Erosion or go with another trait and Lover.0 -

Lover will be good for PvP
Warrior / Apprentice will be defiantly more popular
Thief - although it took a nerf it will still be a universal choice...
All in all I think the meta will change slightly... It will be better to use TBC (Twice-Born Star) rather than Law of Julianos/Hunding's Rage as it will give more weapon/spell dmg with some divine traits + you will have an extra 2 second mundus to pick...Edited by Tommy_The_Gun on July 15, 2017 10:36AM0 -

✭Asayre has done a bunch of early calculations on this. Check out his post if you haven't yet.
100% uptime on Infused is BiS if you can manage it. Precise is very close with less hassle about maintaining perfect enchant uptime. Sharp is better the less overall penetration you already have.
Apprentice is good if you already have a fair amount of penetration. Thief is good if you don't already have very much crit. Shadow is good if you already have a lot of crit. Lover is good if you don't have very much penetration already.
There will be more dps variation through rng of crits, off balance, minor vulnerability, etc. than from switching any of these setups. They are VERY close to each other.Edited by dpencil1 on July 15, 2017 6:58PM2 -
