DO GUILDS NEED A GUILD RECRUITING PLATFORM?

Hey All

So im Doing a Poll on adding a Guild Recruiting Platform, For all the ESO Guilds in ESO , Whether its PS4, XBOX, PC NA OR PC EU.
The Reason I'm doing this poll is All Guilds for now can only Post their Recruitment Message in Zone chat on their respective platforms
By doing so they get randomly attacked by some people who report them for no reason & they get social Ban's or some people start telling these Recruiters to recruit outside of Zone chat
Which isn't possible because ZOS hasn't made another area for Guild's to Recruit New members from. So I'm doing this poll in Hopes that ZOS create's a certain Area where Guilds can Recruit or Post their Advertisement, maybe something like a Writ Board (But its a Guild Board) in Game & people Click on it to see various Guild Ad's and who to contact for a invite.

I Agree, Guilds Need another Area / Platform Besides Zone Chat to Recruit New Guild Members

Would be nice if you could request to join from the guild trader menu, or Quartermaster if your guild owns a keep or resource in Cyrodiil

every platform, the idea is to create a place for Guilds to recruit freely and its for every platform.

Great idea! I have been on both sides. It can be annoying getting huge wall of texts in general chat recruiting but then again I know there isn't really anywhere else in game to do it.

Honey - ZOS doesnt want communities and zos hates guilds. if zos would give any f on guilds, they would support new functions, they would support trade guilds instead of hitting them again and again. zos doesnt want guilds to recruit, bcs f guilds. the only guilds they care for are max. some few progress pve guilds. but even on those zos doesnt give a lot on, u know why? because eso is a single player questing game with a little bit online. and now shut up and buy some crates.

We do need more methods yes. Have people been hit with social bans recently? I recruit people and don't want to keep risking it

yes, a lot of normal zone recruiters recently receive social bans, seemingly zos changed something about the ban scripts. but instead of fixing it, the social ban has not to be lifted now by support - so they dont even need to get a feedback about how stupid this new banscript is, it just exceeds within 24h. great, isnt it?

Once you talk to support to lift the social ban they don't ban you again, do they?

I Disagree, Live With Trolls Social Baning Friendly Recruiters & Recruit in Zone For New Guild Members

There are sub forums for each server for guild recruitment. It works well.

And a biased poll is worthless.

I agree a guild board would be nice, also it could be another gold sink. Until then there are guild recruitment forums. Personally I only get slightly annoyed at guild recruitment messages when they cut into a lively conversation in zone. Post it during a quiet pause and I'll read it.

I refuse to vote because the choices are biased. Also guild recruitment messages in zone have never been convincing enough for me to join one in the last 2 decades of online gaming. They all sound like newbs who are desperate for people to boss around. "We are a new guild (meaning no resources not even mentoring) focused on pve/pvp/rp/trading (so no focus at all) and we're super friendly (clingy and needy)."

And of course most of those same players will mysteriously fine and use some in game interactive. I'm quite sure the uptic in guild traffic will be huge.

Edit: I've found the most successful way to recruit new members into casual to moderate PvE and PvP guild is via letting players doing what you already do. PvP has those who are LFG. Meet someone while doing a dungeon talk with them afterwards.

Less likely to get members who are just there but rarely do anything with the guild.

Found man decent players when I recruited that way. ended up with over 200 members and over 100 logging in on a given day. Filled raids pretty easily and certainly easy to get 4 mans together or a PvP group formed up.

This 'mysterious' system would have an in-game tutorial. Or, as has been mentioned above, could be incorporated into a pre-existing system that players already make use of.
