Lol, you hit the jackpot then. Must be nice!
Did the recommended system requirements for the game change with Morrowind? My video card (ATI 7790 with 1GB of memory) was close to the recommended requirements and I rarely recall any fps/lag problems pre Morrowind. I am not a programmer but I realize adding/changing code in one area almost always breaks something somewhere else
If the lag/fps problem was for 30 seconds or so then corrected itself I can live with that. But when I get 999+ latency and 1-2 FPS for over a couple minutes I know it is time to quit.
Oddly, when I do try to quit I have quite a delay before I get a blank screen then another 30 seconds or so before my desktop or login screen appear.

So, I've sat quiet for a long time about the issues with this game. But seriously, what kind of development processes are going on at ZOS? Your customers are ANGRY! We're experiencing the same issues game wide again that we experienced last week with broken routes related to ZOS's ISP. I've been very happy to see that ZOS has begun better deployment cycles and started more closely following lean development principles and have been bringing transparency to their customers with change feedback and whatnot. But honestly, why are the same issues being reintroduced patch after patch? You guys need to get the idea that if your customers want to purchase a Ferrari, you first deliver a skateboard, then a scooter, then a motorcycle, and build on top of proven framework until the end goal is met. But you started with a 1990's Ford POS from a junk yard and are still trying to make a broken transmission work. You seriously need to actually get to work on fixing important parts of the game before introducing new features. Wake up the infrastructure teams in their cubicles please.
A large portion of your community can't play this broken game and you are giving us the impression that you just don't care as long as you are getting paid. Well, don't forget, we provide your paychecks. This is literally insanity.
In case anyone is actually curious, yes I debugged my connection, and I ran a trace to the ZOS servers. It's the same issue as last week; my trace logged about a 50% drop in packets.
