Too bad my content filter is blocking your memes. Seriously, bro, it's a game. Why do you get your jimmies tussled at someone pointing out it's problems? I mean I get it it, to some people MMOs are srs bsns and should never be questioned for fear of the forum avenger, but if people aren't having fun or dismayed at seeing their friends list disappear who are you to tell them to shut up?

You forgot one point. Loyal subscribers, anticipating that ZOS would honor the sub deal, you know you get 100% of the downloadable content as long as you pay your sub. That pissed people off when they broke the deal. I know 4 people who canceled out of the gate and I was able to convince another 3 people in my guild to do so as well.
This isn't true at all.You can do flashpoint even if your not sub.Flashpoint are that game version of a Dungeon. You also don't have to be sub to put on purple gear.DMuehlhausen wrote: »You forgot one point. How did they lie again? Oh please not this tired old Morrowind wasn't an expansion crap right? By your definition then Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandara, and Legion were all free downloadable content..oh wait no they weren't. There were expansions like Morrowind and you paid for them
You want to complain about pay walls, or think Morrowind is one go play Star Wars The Old Republic. You can't even put on epic gear unless you sub. You can only do like 1 or 2 PvE dungeons a day if you don't sub. You can have 3 crafting/gathering skills if you sub, but only 1 if you don't sub. Subs get I believe 5 or 6 crew members..you get 2 I believe if you don't sub even if you do the quest/story to get them they are just locked unless you sub.
Morrowind was an expansion, get over it and stop saying you were ripped off or ZoS double dipped.

Either one, what they said has truth to it but the positives of the game are enough to overlook the negatives, hence still here.
Two, they're exaggerating things//blowing off steam which means things aren't as bad as they say in the first place.
Or three, they're right, it does outweigh the good, and they lack the conviction to leave for some odd reason (seems improbable to me but hey I guess we can't all be "I play games for fun and stop playing when I stop having fun" people)
I hear since 3 years that trial guilds are disappearing...where there 1 million trial guilds during the beta then?
ZOS_KNowak wrote: »Twisting Path was never intended to be a "direct damage" attack - it should be considered a "damage over time" attack (much like other area of effect ticking abilities such as Wall of Elements or Ash Cloud). This first PTS build has a partial fix to its behavior, and a later PTS build will have the full fix for it (and the accompanying patch note).
We are also investigating better ways to communicate what is a "direct damage" attack versus a "damage over time" attack (along with other tooltip terms such as "melee" attack), so that it is more clear how certain Item Set procs interact with certain abilities.

EDIT: BTW...the community was bad BEFORE Morrowind came out, in case you hadn't noticed.

Except they didn't say that. They said we get access to downloadable content available in the crown store. Most just assumed all content would be available in the crown store. Crap move on the part of ZOS not being more clear but still we were not promised 100% of the downloadable content.

Here, before you post again, read through the articles linked below. That's only a tiny fraction of what ZoS has said over time, but more than enough for this topic.

"What to expect from Elder Scrolls Online expansions
We're doing the kinds of things that with other games you'd associate with DLC - for us it would be, if you're subscribing to the game you'll get it [as part of the package]. Here's another high-end zone, here's another guild, adding significant story elements as well as new weapon types.
We recently planned out one of the first ten updates we're going to be doing, and honestly these are subject to change as the game comes out and evolves, but each of them is kind of a story package, like the key thing we're adding is this, and here's all the stuff that we're going to do to support that."

Battlegrounds are a disaster due to queuing issues, terrible game balance, the lack of a CP mode, and the inability to choose game type.
Then it seems that with each update everyone needs to change their gear which means it's time to farm for gear again.
And with this game's terrible RNG, it seems that's what people spend the majority of their time doing; farming.
It really isn't enjoyable spending days of your life trying to get a particular piece of gear with a specific trait.
And the people that have left the game say things along the lines of "it feels nice to actually play a game again and have fun"
Zenimax, I believe you're killing your own game. You're forcing people to play the way you want them to, and in the end it's going to cause people to seek other video games.
I am honestly surprised you got 40 likes.
in fact, I think the FORUM population has dwindled as new players trying out the game for the first time dont generally hop on the forums.
ESO is still a high populated bustling environment.
Trials guilds arent dying off. New ones are being created every day. just about everyone in Wayrest has the vMoL dromathra skin. Guilds are clearing some of the hardest content in the game and just because youve never heard of them doesnt mean they dont exist.
PvP is STILL booming. there is one 7 day campaign that doesnt get a lot of attention but the fact that the one 30 day cp enabled campaign is bursting at the seams tells me the 7 day campaign NEEDS to be used, but the players refuse - NOT zos' fault.
Morrowind was an awesome update and one i'd pay full price for again. BGs were a bust but this is a marathon, not a 100 meter dash. Lets hope ZOS does the right thing on that.
Divines is still BiS for PvE gear - coupled with the IMPROVED Lover Mundus and precise weapons, youll be fine.
Impen and Sharpened are still BiS for PvP.
Like this is TYPICAL gloom and doom. TYPICAL its not even original anymore. There was doom and gloom with the sustain changes, but that turned out fine. Stam dps is still fine. DPS is hitting 50k FINE.
Everything is fine and the game is business as usual. now with MORE build diversity which is exactly what the devs promised. You sir, are the boy who cried wolf without anything but your opinion to sustain your bias agenda driven perception.
In fact because of what i just said here, every single one of you OWE zos the benefit of the doubt at this point. every. single. one. of. you.
