Is Morkuldin considered a monster or a pet?

"Any monster summoned by an Item Set proc now inherits any bonuses you have. The most notable bonuses are damage done and healing done from passive abilities, Major/Minor buffs, or the Champion System."

Seems like Morkuldin could be pretty strong with points into Mighty, Major/Minor Brutality, and Major/Minor Savagery. Could totally imagine some DoT builds using Morkuldin + Viper + Axe Bleed. Anyone done some testing to see if it counts as a "monster"?

This questions been asked at least a few times and I don't believe anyone knows. I personally really like that set just because it feels unique. But it was definitely feeling like more of a novelty and less of anuseful set before.

I am all for a morkuldin buff.

    100% swords up time.
I don't even care if they nerf the sword damage, just remove it's need to be proc'd and it would be the coolest set in the game.
