AMD here and no crashes, however black screen about 20% of the time when >8hrs. or so.

Having a "high end" PC does not equate to good maintenance of said PC. Nor does guarantee you'll be free of gaming problems, including crashes, lag, or even a pleasurable gaming experience. You could have malware or a configuration issue or there's a problem with your drivers or a problem with the gaming files.
If you've done all the standard repair steps -- repaired files from the launcher, checked to ensure you have enough hard drive space, cleaned/checked for malware, updated your graphics drivers -- then check your internet connection, call your ISP, have them run some health checks.
I guess I've been super lucky -- even when people were complaining about lag last week I was not effected. I have never had any problems connecting to or maintaining a connection to the game servers. Occasionally I will get lag, but it never lasts for more than a day tops...I have not had the game crash but twice in the last 2 years.
I guess your mileage may vary. I hope that you and the other folks who are having crashes get your issue resolved soon. I know I'd be frustrated too.0 -

I maintain my PC very well. I have several malware software, repaired from launcher, graphics driver is updated, internet is fine, health checks have also been performed, even clean out the dust regularly. I don't get crashes anymore. I very, very rarely get infinite load screens. But these are so not common that they don't bother me. I occasionally get a hang when I alt-tab out of ESO and try to go back in, but I can work around it by not alt-tabbing as much

✭Crash? What crash?I don't crash. I run from the eso64.exe directly. I keep that memory hog of an updater closed unless I'm patching. When I start noticing strange artifacts in game (corrupted map, missing textures, etc.) I usually restart the game. I prefer to "Crash" voluntarily...Mainly to get a dump to update saved variables for my addons. If you crash, you lose everything for that session. I usually only have to do that if I've been porting all over the place (doing skyshards, world bosses, etc. with guild).0 -

Although there is an issue where if you exit the game quickly sometimes it hangs, but I suspect this is related to add ons trying to save data.0
