✭✭✭✭✭I think paul_j is right. Twice-born is going to be the OP set with all the buffs to the mundus stones (except The Thief, which was nerfed). I just read through all the patch notes and most of the mundus's are getting buffs.
Prices for custom Twice-Born armor pieces are going to skyrocket, and they're already high.

I for one would love to actually use my character's crafting skills and go back to a 9 trait set and certain style, instead of farming mindless and ugly drop sets.

✭✭✭✭✭I don't see how it offers anything over current BiS sets. It would be nice for a crafted set to return into the meta, but it doesn't look like TBS will be it. Nirnhoned staff front bar + precise back bar, TBS with shadow mundus + mage + new slimecraw+willpower = Anti sorc, batter down shield and switch bar and finish very quickly. Oh wait I've been using that for 2 years in pvp perfectly fine and better than anything else. TBS never left. Trials not BiS. Major+Minor slayers sets are just too powerful to pass up. Been using master architect + SOTH lately on magdk. Pulls over 40k just spamming ferocious leap for huge uptime.PC Master Race

✭✭✭✭✭Ugh, I hate TBS. The second mundus gets removed constantly for me, sometimes even when just moving around pieces even if the number of TBS set pieces remains at 5.
And if you like to swap around full sets it's such a pain having to get the mundus buff every time. Wish they could find a way to remember your buff and reapply it, but considering how many times this set has been abused I doubt they can do it.2 -

Flameheart✭✭✭✭✭I would like the option for a viable TBS Setup for PvE, at last my maxskilled crafters and all the styles I gathered would make some sense.
Besides the buff to mundus stones there will be nerfs to favorite proc sets:
•Grothdarr: Decreased the damage of this Item Set’s proc by 10%.
•Ilambris: Decreased the damage of this Item Set’s proc by 10%.
So maybe wearing TBS + another good 5-piece-set might make a difference, while dumping the Undaunted sets. Issue is that the second 5-piece-set should be a set that gives you the 5% Minor Slayer buff, because that buff is still very strong for PvE dps. Still leaves a slot for vMA staff.
So it leaves TBS + Moondancer or TBS + Alkosh or TBS + Master Architect or TBS + War Machine.

seedubsrun✭✭✭✭I'm looking forward to dusting off my old TBS set. It's looking like Shadow will be king now for DPS and even Apprentice is looking pretty nice. Plus the H, M, and S stats will be buffed by 13.3%. Pair that up with some crit chance gear (that's getting buffed 55%) and beef up elfborn a bit. Could be very powerful.1 -
