ESO EVEN worth playing?!

I have not played ESO sense before Morrowind came out. I do not think it was right to bump up he CP cap and put a price on Morrowind. There is not really point to play ESO if you do not have ESO plus for every DLC. I just really feel like the game is falling apart. I want to play it again but I am way to scared because I do not want to spend so much MONEY! The game dos not even seem enjoyable anymore. Everything is a grind to be the best and rising the CP cap. Can anyone shed some light on me?

IMO, if your going to start now no, if youve been playing for awhile.wait for something else to come along.

Are you asking in case someone can point out something you have missed that might make the game feel more interesting?

We all enjoy different aspects of the game for different reasons. What I enjoy doing this week in the game may bore me to death next week, depending on my mood, so I'll find another aspect of the game to enjoy.

If you no longer enjoy it, move on.

Bumping the CP cap is nothing. 30 points in Morrowind. If you are at the CP cap, you can grind out to cap, but the changes they made to CP in Morrowind to front-load the benefits of CP means that those 30 points are worth a lot less at cap. Your choice as to whether they are worth it.

I don't think the game is falling apart. It is continuing to grow, and that means that there is a large accumulation of stuff for the game than there was back in 2014. That can translate to spending money, but it does not have to. You can definitely play ESO on a budget, but like with anything on a budget, you are not getting everything that you could be.

If you have to be the best to enjoy the game, then you are going to have to invest time. In ESO, everyone knows that means waiting out the RNG. Personally, I can enjoy the game without doing that, but I know that is not for everyone. If I was not enjoying the game, I would not be playing.

What I did and do, is: Subscribe for a period of time, save crowns, if you wish to continue a dlc then use crowns to purchase dlc.

During subscribed time, make use if craft bag - horde everything, do research etc

Once you own dlc, or have decided against a purchase, unsubscribe for a period of time and play for free.

About maxing weapons, CP, grind etc.

The BiS isn't required except by a very small portion of the community - to be competitive against other players finishing pve content. To finish the actual content itself BiS is not required.

Example: over 20k dps can be achieved with overland and crafted sets - trial and vMA are not mandatory, same goes with a current non sharpened weapon - sure you don't get as much dps as sharpened but precise can still get your job done.

The game will always be about getting new things, always something new to be done. Quite frankly I get bored with a character once all his gear and levels are maxed.

So if you feel like you have to get the next best "sharpened bsw inferno staff," and that doing it will be a huge drag, then no I doubt you're gonna have fun, but if you wanna just have things to do and can live with 2nd BiS, I say yeah come on back - maybe you'll get lucky and get stuff on the first run through

population in game - very strong and growing pretty fast.

Concept of game - best out out of any game out right now.

Stability of game - about below average performance due to lag disconnect and cyrodil load screens.

Life expectancy? Nobody knows lol

You don't have to spend money to play past the box prices.

Playing gets you CP if you are doing anything that earns XP

Just play the game if you enjoy it.

I love it when you CAN play. The endless load screens and frequent server crashes remind me of Windows Millennium.
