✭✭✭✭✭they said that everyone will have acces to dlc's, after morrowind also, and that eso+ players will be able to play ALL DLC'S, including those after Morrowind.
ESO+ give acces to ALL DLC, read the description ON THEIR MAIN WEBSITE, it sais so, that Eso+ unlocks ALL DLC RELATED CONTENT ( this should include the upcoming HORNS OF THE REACH, but it doesn't)
I wonder how eso+ players feel knowing that they wont be able to play the new DLC unles they buy the "chapter"...?

My pov is as follows: u either give all eso+ players acces to full dlc as it was advertised or you remove eso+, period.
Remember me why are ppl paying eso+, if they don't have access to full dlc list?
ESO plus subscribers won't have access to the next dlc? Where does it say that they won't? ESO plus subscribers won't have access to battlegrounds if they do not own Morrowind. They should have access to the rest of the content of the DLC like the dungeons.
ESO+ WILL HAVE access to the dungeons, but the new Battleground map isn't being released AS 'part of' the DLC, it's being released with the UPDATE. It seems some people can't separate the two, which makes me wonder how some people's mind actually thinks... I mean, they'd be OK if one day they released DLC and the next day released UPDATE... although then they'd complain about two days worth of downtime and why can't they do them on the same day. *sigh*CP: 2105 ** ESO+ ** ~~ ***** Strictly a solo PvE quester *****

✭✭✭Instead of framing it as "only caring about money", I would say they care about remaining profitable.
I have always supported the subbers who claimed a bait and switch -- because it was, but I will never support those who claim it is unreasonable to expect players to pay money annually to buy chapters with new game modes. B2P means you can play what you bought for as long as servers are up.
The location of a BG is irrelevant. We can expect BG maps with landscapes from various areas in Tamriel in the future.
Regarding the bait and switch, it is unavoidable. Companies have to adjust based on what the accountants say. I have experienced my employer choosing to let million dollar contracts walk because they couldn't support 2 products doing the same thing and users of the product being shut down didn't want to migrate to the other product. Similarly, when a service contract ends, new terms are negotiated and the old terms have no power over new terms. SImilarly, when the sub ends, the new sub can be under completely new terms -- which is very normal. The reason I say it was a bait and switch was due to the marketing that the sub is all you would need to access future content and then altering the language for the sake of CYA. But the new model is very reasonable, setting aside the people who regret subbing instead of buying DLC outright in the past before the goalposts were moved.1 -

I assume you are new because you don't understand their DLC model.
DLC updates are included in larger updates. The larger updates include updates to base game and all the other DLC/chapters.
The Dark Brotherhood launched, they included crafting bags in that patch. Crafting bags are NOT part of any DLC. They are NOT part of Dark Brotherhood. They are a base game update for people with ESO+. Same thing for bank increase that arrived with Morrowind for those with ESO+.
Additional BG are updates to Morrowind. They are not part of the DLC. In fact, If I do not buy DLC, but own Morrowind, I will have access to the new maps.4 -

It makes sense that you can't access the new battleground as part of the new dlc if you haven't already bought the prerequisite. You can't access vMA without Orsinium, or ICP/Wgt without the IC expansion, so it's logical to assume that if you didn't buy the expansion to unlock battlegrounds you can't play any new battlegrounds that come out because that shows the players who actually bought the expansion that it didn't matter.3 -

With the next update, Horns of the Reach, a new Battleground ll be available. While it is located in Imperial City ( but no IC DLC needed ) only the players who purchased Morrowind "expension" will have acces to it. That s totally unfair and show again you only care about one thing.... money.
I hope enough ppl will stand against this to make this bad decision changed. What are you thoughts about it ?
well battlegrounds came as part of Morrowind expansion, so if you do not have Morrowind, you can not have new battlegrounds map, simple as that

Again. The new BG is coming in Update 15. So is the new DLC. That doesn't mean that the BG is part of the DLC, just that they are being added at the same time.
it is included in dlc description, eso+ members must have acces to it because that eso+ offers, even if they don't own morrowind
zos said that even if u don't have morrowind but u are eso+ u will be able to play all dlc's after that any way, 100% as long as u are subscriber

Mmhm, except I think it's a misunderstanding of their wording. A new BG 'map' is just a different configuration of the battleground. It's not actually IN the IC, which is why you don't need IC to play it. It's still in the battlegrounds arena, like all the current BG maps are.Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.1 -

Battlegrounds was advertised from the start as a Morrowind feature.
Next patch, they are adding a free expansion of this battleground feature. You don't need to buy the Horns DLC (or the IC DLC) to get this battleground--all you need is to have the battleground feature unlocked with Morrowind. So... they're greedy because they're expanding for free an existing paid feature? Your logic is impeccable...
