Whats going on with ESO....?

Ooooh, conspiracy theory. Take it as you will.. Zen/Zos is just gamers cleansing. They are intentionally causing the lags, bugs, crashing, and their silence is just a tactic in their bags of arsenals. This way, us long time gamers of ESO (to include those from day 1) who know better when things are jacked up and speaking out about it are being passively (or aggressively; depending on one's perception) given the exit door. All the while, new contents are being released and glorified to attract the new fresh meat, I mean, new multitude of gamers to ESO (new set of revenue/profit pouring in) who wouldn't yet know the jacked up things with ESO and who wouldn't be reporting reoccurring issues that ZOS/dev can't fix.. i.e. continuous lags, crashing and bugs and whatever other technical debacles are occurring within the game. Thus, the process repeats itself.

People must be still talking about lag in Cyrodiil? Because last night I saw a HUGE improvement in open world Dark Anchors... was grinding with a pack moving back and forth between anchors in Auridon... and noticed that I didn't have ANY lag, even with all the AoE's being dropped. It was nice, because usually I'd be dealing with either rubber banding or just huge slow-downs that you'd barely move... and last night was even a Saturday night!

    1. Some of the well knows streamers don't stream no mo.
    2. Twitch viewership is like 500 views total
    3. The Devs are quiet
    4. Lag
    5. I am getting tea bagged way more the I am used to.
    6. RNG is not on my side.
    7. Forums don't have anything interesting to read. and I am stuck at work till the end of the day.

    1. ESO has few dedicated streamers. These streamers have played the game for a looong time and just need a break, so they're branching out and playing new games. Fengrush still seems to be going strong with ESO though.
    2. I can't speak for everybody else, but I find the ESO Live's kind of dull. Every so often there's a nugget of exciting information, but I'd rather just hear about it after the show from someone else than sit through 40 minutes of painful jokes and awkward laughing.
    3. Hopefully they're just busy..
    4. We've finally had some information that the lag affects certain ISPs, so it's not really all on ZOS's end. If you suffer with lag I'd suggest sending in a pathping and traceroute to them so they can check it out
    5. Many of the older, nicer players have moved on or are taking a break. They have been replaced by a newer, saltier version.
    6. RNG blows. It's not on anyone's side. It does what it wants, when it wants.
    7. That's because I took a break for a while. Sorry about that.

    1. I don't care about social media or people who are "famous on the internet"
    2. See #1
    3. Sounds like most games I've played TBH
    4. This is new? In fairness, I've been playing ESO for less than 6 months, but it seems to me that most online games have lag. Do you mean to tell me this game used to not have lag? Damn, I should have started playing sooner. :/
    5. Maybe because most people who enjoy PVP are buttheads (would use other terms, but censorship). Again, is this something new?
    6. When has RNG ever been on anyone's side? Going to have to ask again, is this new?
    7. Yeah okay, you got me there. Not sure what you're expecting from a video game forum, though. Some juicy fanfiction or sci-fi erotica?

How many servers could they have gotten if they did not give that million dollars away?

In fairness to ZOS, a million bucks isn't what it used to be and additional server resources can only take you so far - it's how efficiently you use them that matters. An extra million per year, on the other hand, would certainly pay for a few more devs to add some of the inexplicably missing features and work on all the existing bugs, plus more (some?) QA people to catch issues before inflicting half-baked stuff on us.

Maybe letters to Mr Trump (Robert, not Donald), exhorting him to Make ESO Great are in order?

Matt Firor said in an interview that they intend to implement a transmog system, but there's no ETA.

I remember when they were planning a cool-sounding justice system, complete with some optional PvP. What we got was a the beginnings of a justice system followed by "Can't be bothered to finish this off. Hey! Look! There's a new limited edition re-skinned thing in the crown store!".
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

Transmog is coming to eso. It's really the only thing interesting happening.

That's really sad when a QOL cosmetic is all that interesting to you

Here is what happened to ESO.

The Devs picked up the gun and shot their own game. No one plays it anymore. I just log in for a few mins to check my research and log out.

I have no more will to play this game.

@WarMasterCyp I connot believe you said that LMFAO.....You just made me spit out my drink lol.

Wasn't meant to be funny :/

People are swimming, travelling... doing mostly holiday/summer stuff at the moment. It's understandable. It will pass.

Tea-bagging of people wearing certain types of armor or using certain skills has become all the rage with some people.

Point one and two: dont bother with them, they are sad about Morrowind, and stopped streaming. Focus on your opinion instead. Point 3 and 4: no ETA. Point 5: double-check your gear, skillset and your rotation. Point 6: RNG is never on someones side. Point 7: Forums...forums never change...(see what I did there?).
