Plague Doctor+Green Pact+Warrior-Poet?

Which combination of those three sets (assuming as level 50 cp 160 golds) would give the most health bonus?

I am currently running my nord warden in Plague Doctor and Warrior-Poet and wonder if Plague Doctor and Green Pact would give more health,
or perhaps Green Pact and Warrior-Poet would?

I dont have them at gold yet, purples only, but I am interested in what the possible maximums are when all are gold.

Hoping someone who likes maxing stats can shine some light on this.

Its MINOR Toughness, and the warhorn is 30s and the Wardens is 10s but is easily reapplied. Green Pact+Plague Doctor will be your best bet for what you are wanting to accomplish

I thought that Major Toughness didnt exist in the game?

Warden passive and Horn Morph give Minor Toughness only, and they have a short duration.

Yeah, thats minor XD Sorry I was sleepy.
But my point still stays, Warrior-Poet isnt very good in pve, especially on wardens.
Ive got a warden healer and toughness uptime is almost 100% at all times. On a tank it wont be 100% ofc but its probably still enough to make WP set useless. This extra hp boost wont help you in boss fights, since theres going to be a warhorn buff, and that would be enough for me to choose another set.

Well I'm running Warrior-Poet with Green Pact, and Lord Warden or Troll King on my DK Tank, and get minimum (with food) 50k HP with 2k Health recovery and 35k Spell resistance and 33k Physical resistance <- With Harden Armor...

It a build I'm using for trials, so it functions ok in pve, the same with Plague Doctors and Green pact. <- for me Plague doctors only gives me 2500 more health and 4% healing taken and a loss of 2600 resistance. Yes warhorn can give me more health, but not giving loss of resistance.

Keep in mind that Warden heals (any heals, not just green balance) and Warhorn already give you Major Minor Toughness. So I wouldnt recommend Warrior Poet tbh.

Edit: Ofc its Minor Toughness, not major.

Due note Warrior-Poet also give bonus spell and physical resistances, which is the trade off for more health which is on base line of 3k-5k, and either about 300 health recovery or 4% healing taken

Also Warrior-Poet relies on you having alot of health to gain the most from Minor Toughness

Minor toughness is on Warhorn but Warhorn may not be use when you want it.

I am getting 62.5k health with the Plague Doctor and Warrior-Poet, so Plague Doctor and Green Pact would make it 65k ish?

Not such a huge difference in health then, thanks for your answers.

So if Plague Doctor with Green Pact can give me around 65k, the uptime for the Warden passive should give around 71.5k?

    Sounds like a plan, cheers.

72k with Plaque and Green Pact (5 pieces still purple; also without Warhorn or Ayleid Well) with a 2-piece monster set. All other attributes are low, though. Thus, with such low stam resource for blocking as well as having block cost reduction glyphs, which certain world bosses are already eating up those stam while blocking, I'm still trying to figure out how effective this is for vet trials.. as what some are claiming this build to be the current meta for a tank. So, right now, as it stands, this super tank of mine is still just for show.

block tanking is for chumps anyways.

in dungeons, especially DLC vet dungeons on hard mode were you have to take the literal freight train to the face, PD+WP(+Mighty "Chew"dan if you don't have any hardening skills like NBs) will be your best friends as you rarely have ppl using warhorn in those.
WP over GP simply because it adds additional resists, which translates to roughly 4% damage reduction for physical and spell damage.

my advice tho - don't always go with what other ppl or some youtube wannabe pro deems the over-epic-legendary-must-have flavor of the month endgame gear. just because it works good for them doesn't mean it necessarily works good for you too as your playstyle might be totally different.
there is other sets that work very well togheter, like Bahraha's Curse, Leeching Plate, Brands of Imperium, Almalexia's Mercy, Knight-Errant's Mail... if if fits your playstyle/class/abilites you can make it work for you.

Pretty much, guildie of mine running the Plague doctors Warrior-Poet combo... which the conversation was will you have the resources to keep health up. on my Tank I only have 12800 Stam and 9800 Magicka, without food buff.

My guild recommends atleast 20k stam for Vet Trials... with atleast 25~30% Block cost.

However I do unconventionally use a Warrior-Poet Defending Ice Staff (temp will switch with Green Pact) on my back bar because it swaps blocking resources and allows Stam recovery while blocking. It functions about the same as sword and board, and a 3rd taunt option when both resources are low.

-> minor toughness would on come from a warhorn if no Warden in the group. however you'll have it always up then if you miss a warhorn buff, then you'll still have boosted health. I normally do especially in HoF.
