    Not sure what if i hate or like the set because more often than not the tank has to do some mechanics where he has to move and then a huge snare is crap

    2nd and 3rd piece gives 2975 resistance, this is more then what current sets resistance bonus.

    In PVP, when setting up or avoiding a bomb, the tank doesn't need to move right away if he can survive, he's there to reduce the opposing groups mobility while allowing his group to maneuver. With Major protection and no heal debuff the tank will certainly be able to be kept alive, likely with just a bit of outside help if any. Pair this with any other tank set and any number of monster helms

    @waffenacht check this out.

    Gap closers aren't effected by movement speed penalty. Heavy attack+crit rush(we'll use stampede tho for the snare) is a classic 2h synergy.

    Sounds like a death sentence for some fights where mechanics will one shot even tanks(IE: Spider fight in vCoS, first boss in HoF). I think its garbage, I like to maintain what little mobility I have as a tank in a fight, thank you very much. This might be different if roll dodge is not effected by the 75% movement penalty. This set would be a total nightmare if you were wearing it against the planar inhibitor in vWGT.

    The 2pc bonus also provides close to 200 more health than any current gold level HP bonus as well. 1206 vs 1064

    The only tanks interested in the 5 piece bonus would be those that just permablock anyway. The 4 piece is actually nice though. Major protection is a 30% damage reduction, and for bosses that you dont have to move for this may well be viable...but this becomes a nightmare on trash mobs where it procs while you are still in the process of running around puncturing things. This is a set that I would keep on my tank for ONLY certain fights...otherwise I would prefer anything that doesnt slow me 75% and instead just cast Circle of Protection and deal with 8% reduction +10% stam regen boost. In other words...equip for the warrior in vHRC and not much else. At that point though, you might as well equip the pirate skeleton monster set(at least it gives an amusing transformation animation) since reducing movement speed by 75% will likely result in 15-20% more damage from AoEs and cleaves

    Tanks in PvP wont use this either....especially not in PvP where movement is life.
